Without wanting to sound rude, how do you manage video MSing without the use of boobs and handbags to hide the cameras? There's no way I'm using chicken fillets and wearing a wig just to do a MS!

You have to be a mystery transvestite :D

The rucksack I had was just a plain black rucksack with one diagonal strap that goes across your body. The camera was hidden in the strap. That could have been used by either male or female.

Another company offered me work with a camera in a unisex denim jacket. However the jacket was a large size and I'm quite small, so I would have looked stupid in it, so I didn't do those visits.

I've also seen men's tie kits. They were testing different ones on a training day I did. One man had a clip on tie with a camera hidden in the knot, and another had a decorative tie pin with the camera in. Both had the rest of the equipment on their body and the wires went through their shirts under the tie. They also mentioned a camera in a ball point pen that men could carry in the breast pocket of a jacket, but they were worried in case an assistant asked to borrow the pen!
Here I go again on my own....

Simple answer there would be to give them one real pen and one video pen!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I keep seeing posts about new jobs being released to aba-i. Is this https://www.aba-i.co.uk? Because I'm registered, but whenever I search for jobs anywhere in London (which I would think there would be at least a few), nothing comes up- not even with booked visits! Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?
  • I've just completed my tax form online and it says they owe me £14.
I haven't submitted it yet because I'm wondering if I've done it wrong.
    My profit was £33.
The only thing I can think it may be is the £13.86 which was deducted by TNS in which case I'm up by 14p.
Is that what it will be?

It will probably be this, I reckon. Do you have another job?
  • I thought you would know Timmne.
No I don't have another job.

That sorts it then. If your earnings are less than £5225 then you shouldn't pay any tax, so the £14 will just be a rounded up version of the £13.86 - the tax man always seems to round up!

Sarah are you registered for just one client or more? There is certainly loads of jobs for one of the clients in London just now.

I'm puzzled (doesn't take much!). How can they owe you tax if you haven't paid any tax in another job??? Surely if they owe you, that means you have overpaid somewhere along the line?

Yeah it means ddb has paid too much in TNS as it seems there shouldn't have been any tax to pay.

    Woohoo!
