    Hi.

Does anyone have an email address for Jan Cochrane or Avril Temple at TNS my manager is away until 24th Dec and I have just completed my first 2 visits for them today but can't get the expenses page to save for either job. Or does anybody have any ideas as to what I can try it says authorisation not required and incomplete. I am under the limit?

    DTxx
I'm sending you a PM with both (Jan's my manager ;))

Make sure you're not using FireFox, reports are fine but the expenses page only work in IE.

Has anyone ever been able to get a breakdown of a payment from GAP?

I've emailed a couple of times as my figures don't match theirs and I want to see whats missing but they are doing the GAP ting and not responding.

Yes, you can get them to send you your Spreadhseet of work and payments if you have major problems - but it takes about a week I used to find with pay queries.

TNS Money doesnt seem to be the usual date range as mine is under half what I was expecting this month - cant remember if they were working to a different cut off this month or not.

I've only been paid for the jobs I did during the first week of December, so I think they must be.
  • hello, i'm new to this thread but i really need some help, i've just registered with Gfk and cannot manage to complete the training test. I am convinced that i have got them all correct but it keeps saying that i have one wrong and i can't work out which one! to the point where i've gone through and changed each answer to work out which one is the wrong one and i still can't get them all right i'm 99.9% sure that i have them all right!! any ideas anyone?

Hi quick question are there any companies that dont mind if you do a visit with a baby in a buggy? My littlun is only 11 wks old and i am not leaving her with anyone else. I know the burger place visits dont allow babies - no great loss to me, but as me and littlun are getting out and about a bit more i thought i may as well start MSing again!

Hi there. My little one is also 11 weeks (already eek!!) and she comes to all my MS jobs unless it states otherwise. The only ones she doesn't come to is the burger jobs. I've taken her to bank, phone, retail, petrol etc. There is a phone job with GFK that doesn't allow children and I don't take her to audits but otherwise I go on the basis that if it doesn't state so I take her -she's usually asleep anyway. I find it's good to see if staff interact as well. Hope all goes well x

mmmh not sure needtopaymydebts, but I've found GFK don't have many jobs just a couple here and there. What about trying for another company?

I've done most of my MS'ing with a baby in tow, as said before, it provides a good cover and makes a lot of enquiries more realistic. I've stopped at the moment as DS has just gone 2 and doesn't take kindly to Mommy stopping and asking SA lots of ridiculous questions!

I've just received the email from a lady with an irish surname and yahoo addy (just incase someone else has too). Only worried that it may be one of those dodgy ones. Anyone else had this or know of the company?

In Brief Bxxxxxxx Bxxx Pxxxxx do mystery-shopping visits to bars/clubs/restaurants in the UK.

i.e. You go to a specific venue in your area, at a set time, order a specific drink and/or food dish and make observations on staff, service, bathrooms, and venue. Afterwards you fill in a report on what happened and email it back to HQ with receipt for the items you bought. You are given a choice of date to do the visit on.
You will be refunded the drink/food and depending on the bar/time/type of visit you will be paid a fee of £10-£20 for doing the visit.
This work is purely casual and shoppers to each bar chain must be rotated so there is no guarantee of income or the amount of visits you can have.
It is not a part time work but we do offer work to all who are interested.

If you think this is something that would interest you let me know.

When you reply can you tell me:
    Where you are based
    Your age
    Have you excel
    Do you drink alcohol
Are you eligible to work on a self employed basis
Do you have any experience as a mystery shopper

    Any questions please ask away

Hi all( hope I am doing this quote thing rite-so please forgive if I am not and sorry I am late in reply-I have been taking it easy while it is quiet)

I am the with the Irish surname and yahoo address one and sorry if anyone did get the impression I was not 'real'. I am in Ireland and yes I do allocate for the company I emailed you about. I do not take bank details from shoppers and they are not taken by the company either until you have actually done a visit.
Anyone with any questions if they received an email from me please drop me a line and ask away-
and for those of you who know me and said those kind things-wow -thank you -god it is nice to know that I do treat the shoppers I work with well -I do try to as being a shopper myself I know how important it is for allocator and shopper to have a good relationship.

    Thanks
    Eileen

I see some of you are wondering where I got your emails-either you applying directly on the company website or on REED-these are the only places I have been emailing people from in the last few weeks-hope that clears that up for everyone

Eileen how nice of you to post on here. And nice for you to read nice comments too. I am the Glasgow lady who emailed you yesterday...hope you got it OK.

How we wish there were more allocators like you. Who appreciate we do our utmost to do a good job and provide accurate reports.

Like the post earlier from Becles it is dismaying to receive awful shoddy service. Especially those which the client then disputes as if we are making it up. Most of us are happier to report good service than bad as that is what makes most of us do this.

I did a restaurant recently which is an upmarket one in a good area where my meal bore no resmblence to what I ordered. Hubbie got fish and wasn't offered any condiments such as tartare sauce. Then we heard the manageress screaming at the waiter. All the diners looked horrified. One nearby told us this was common in this restaurant. I hope the company took this on board and had a little word with her.

It was like something out of Fawlty Towers. Come to think of it she did sound a bit like Sybil.

Anyway welcome to the site. If we can help in any way just ask.

    Cheers

Is anyone having any problems with RE tonight. I am trying to submit reports for 2 visits and the system is allowing me to type, but its in a different type facing and is staying in red.

AAAAARRRRGH 0130 and still not submitted and now the b****y system is deleting my answers - that's it off to bed before I explode, they certainly aren't getting the results they wanted by midnight, I have been trying for about 5 hours now!!!!
