Gap & TNS money has gone in to my Lloyds account.................:j Wish FF would hurry up & pay us though!
Oh, and Grassroots in the Halifax yesterday! Must be Christmas!!0 -
Went for a family meal last night at restaurant that serves our favourite type of food. We've been looking forward to it for ages.
What a disaster! The manageress was as miserable as sin. We said we had a table booked. She grabbed menu's and said nothing, walked to a table, tossed the menus on it and walked off!
The waitress appeared to only have one brain cell and didn't look after us at all. The service was tediously slow and I think she was attempting a record in the least words you can say to a customer. Instead of persuading us to have coffee and desserts, she just looked at us and said "want owt else?" Ordered a second round of drinks (after she twice failed to notice we had empty glasses so we had to ask), and she missed my husbands pint off the order. After waiting 20 minutes for it, he walked over to the bar and fetched it himself. Husband got the wrong main course, but it was too much trouble to change it so he just ate it, but it wasn't very nice, and one of the bairns had pasta which was overcooked and soggy. Mine and the other bairns meal were fine though.
We were supposed to check how they interacted with children, but nobody said a word to either of mine and they were completely ignored for the whole visit.
They had parties in and the different types of tables were all mixed up. There was us and a couple next to us on what looked like a romatic meal and we were sitting next to an all male very rowdy group, so it wasn't a nice atmosphere for couples and families. The couple didn't stay long and they seemed really cheesed off.
Could hardly find anything positive to put in the report, so I hope they use the report and they get the problems sorted out. It's a really nice chain and we've really enjoyed visits we've done in other branches, so it's a shame this one was so bad. I'll be interested to do it again in a few months to see if it has improved. Here I go again on my own....0 -

TNS Money doesnt seem to be the usual date range as mine is under half what I was expecting this month - cant remember if they were working to a different cut off this month or not.0 -
Yip GAP have paid early. Does anyone else know if they have received the payments from BARE yet? Is it the 20th it's due?

Hi quick question are there any companies that dont mind if you do a visit with a baby in a buggy? My littlun is only 11 wks old and i am not leaving her with anyone else. I know the burger place visits dont allow babies - no great loss to me, but as me and littlun are getting out and about a bit more i thought i may as well start MSing again!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I have sometimes done a few with a baby but they are only retail jobs where it doesn't specify in the job notes that you can't take anyone with you. Just generally shopping with a baby can sometimes be a good cover. They are few and far between though, I do 99% of mine alone. You just need to really check the assignment notes to see if you are not allowed to take anyone.0

Hi.
Does anyone have an email address for Jan Cochrane or Avril Temple at TNS my manager is away until 24th Dec and I have just completed my first 2 visits for them today but can't get the expenses page to save for either job. Or does anybody have any ideas as to what I can try it says authorisation not required and incomplete. I am under the limit?
