Is anyone having any problems with RE tonight. I am trying to submit reports for 2 visits and the system is allowing me to type, but its in a different type facing and is staying in red.

AAAAARRRRGH 0130 and still not submitted and now the b****y system is deleting my answers - that's it off to bed before I explode, they certainly aren't getting the results they wanted by midnight, I have been trying for about 5 hours now!!!!

I had a problem last week with the system deleting my answers. It took me a good 2 hours to complete the report because of this, then I had an email request to phone them because I had "missed an answer out." I told the person I spoke to about the problem & she was sympathetic but it obviously doesn't get the situation sorted  . It saves what it wants to save!

I've not had this problem, but I couldn't upload my receipts for the last two days - I ended up having to fax them over instead and RE had to attach them to my reports and then close my assignments off for me.

Maybe some sort of glitch in the new system?
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

What do you all print out for each assignment? Do you just check the specs to see if anything has changed, do the assignment & then do the evaluation, without printing or do you print the questionnaire each time with the specs? Is it necessary to keep a copy of the questionnaire as evidence? Just trying to cut down on printing expenses! TIA x

I always like to print everything, just to be on the safe side, esp if for instance I'm doing stamp jobs and there are 3 or 4 different scenarios all in one week and you can use cash for some and it must be card for others - it can get a bit confusing, so I like to have one set of paperwork for each job, but everyone's different. I've got a friend who never prints anything out! don't forget it will offset your tax bill by 6p for every sheet you print off.

Depending on whether you have a day job and what it is, there is always loads of old reports, minutes, stuff that people have printed out and no longer want, floating around our place, that I "recycle" esp for ms'ing. I just put it into my printer upside down and print on the back, so at least the paper isn't actually costing me anything.

Thanks Josie, It can get confusing & I have been printing everything too but I was thinking about just printing the specs for each scenario once, then only reprinting if anything changed... hmmm I'll see how it goes. I was just interseted to see how other people do it. Unfortunately we don't do much printing in our house, so off to MR T's for some value paper I think lol. I have been keeping count of the number of sheets for the tax man. I must register I suppose - I keep putting it off

I just ppicked up a dine in burger job for GAP - We don't have to get names and descriptions any more! Yippeee! Don't know if it's the same for drive thu though.

I like the new Gap assignment notes - but I think they are misleading.

I had a pizza one this week and all the stuff about not ordering anything with pineapple on had vanished from the notes. I was so pleased but thought I'd better check - they confirmed by email that you still can't order pineapple toppings - which I think is a bit off if it isn't mentioned in the notes.

I am also worried because I have another pizza job for them tonight, and they haven't replied to my email to clarify something on the notes.

They are slow, unless it suits THEM. I wanted a chicken job tonight but their system isn't up to date, the restaurant they wanted checking has closed & a new one opened literally a few doors down. I emailed them to let them know & get clarification but they haven't replied & the assignment has vanished, so I presume they are updating & don't want it doing!
On a similar vein, I did a chicken drive thru & reported that the window servers weren't wearing hats, GAP say that only staff having direct contact with food prep need to wear them but the KFC manual says all staff!

  • Hi,
I done some work for Bluestar in October /November, cheque was promised end November, then was promised 10th December as they had a delay, now when I email them I do not get a reply and I have done more work for them again this month !.
  • Ahh, can anyone help me - I have done a job for TNS tonight and gone to log on to submit my report but haven't sent the link from my work email to home for the report. I am in Worcester, Midlands - does anyone have the email address for the area manager they could PM me so I can ask him to resend? I know his first name but don't want to post it here (but can say if people want it to know I'm genuine)

    Thanks!
