You can put any old rubbish in it:rotfl: I just usually put scrunched up paper or an empty carton or something.

If you do buy the special postage and they enter the address on their computer I'm sure that there must be something on their screen about it being a mystery shopping company. Last time I did one the SA's face was a picture:D and she suddenly transformed from a miserable so and so into a super friendly trying to sell me absolutely everything type:eek:

I will second that about the address as Last time I did one of those she kept telling me the place wasn't listed like that and then called over a colleague to have a look.....it was quite funny but whats the point? I reckon they should let you send it wherever you want, as it would be so much more real then :)

RE have just sent me an email with my assignment results, but its in HTML and I can't read it  . Does anyone know how to decipher it??
I am discovering that their website is a pain, it took me forever to do a report the other night because each time I saved, it just saved what it wanted to and I kept having to redo bits of it. Even when I did eventually get it done, it missed a question and I had to phone them  grrrrrr! That was well under minimum wage!
I'm sure the answer to this is no, but I'll ask anyway lol. Can you claim carparking with RE if you haven't spent to the limit?

Usually it states that you can't, you could ask if it doesn't say so but I wouldn't expect to get parking.

Have you tried looking at the assignment details on their website, see if those are correctly coded?

I would just claim the max - as you don't need a receipt for extra drinks and have legitimately spent the money, they are unlikely to query. If they do query, you have an opportunity to explain! If you feel this is immoral you could always include a line in the bit where they asked you what you had to eat/drink ('I had a lasagne, and this, together with my parking charges, came to a total of £x')

I agree but they obviously don't trust us to send them:rolleyes: I feel sorry for the poor person that has to sign for them all:eek:
Do you think they open them to see what nice bits of rubbish we have sent them:D
  • I keep on noticing out of date jobs available on RE, for example, there are currently a few for that should have been completed by the 11th and some more for yesterday. Normally I ignore them, but do they still want people to do them past the date? if so can you accept them to do in a day or twos time or do they expect them to be done on the day you accept them?

I can remember seeing a notice about this on RE, but I can't remember where. Anyway, what it said was if you want to do the job, accept it and then phone them to get the job dates extended—you won't be able to set the job date without phoning them.

I guess if you were worried that you wouldn't be able to do it when they wanted (I imagine they'll want those jobs doing ASAP) you'd be better to phone them and then accept the job.

If you click on these jobs it will usually tell you to accept the job and then contact them to discuss an extension. I would just email the named contact and suggest what date(s) you could do it. They will probably want it doing soon but it does not have to be today.
  • Thanks very much everyone who replied regarding the stamps jobs - it has been a big help! Very much appreciated. X X X
