Does anyone know what the "average" payment is for MS jobs?

I would guess at around £5-ish.

Again it's a how long is a piece of string question. You would expect to get a couple of quid for a quick in and out visit, but more for a visit that invovled sitting with a salesperson for a long time.

I also factor in the product you have to buy. I've just done four branches of a shop I was going to visit anyway for stocking fillers. It was a fiver reimbursement in each, so I've got £20's worth of stuff for free that I was going to buy anyway.
Here I go again on my own....

I acceptd a job on RE last night and I went to set the date for today as thats the last day and it is asking me to call them. Obviously it's the weekend and I can't contact RE, though I did try on the off chance and also emailed. The last time I did a visit for the same contact at RE he just wanted to check I went to the right place.
Do you think that as I was going to go for something to eat tonight anyway that I should go there and fill in the paperwork and email it to him, then if it's ok he will have the paperwork for it.

Hi Tizzy, they do work weekends, I had a call off RE this morning asking me to do a job for them, so I would try calling and seeing who is there.

Also how does it work for the bookies jobs if you get a big win? Do they let you keep it?

Yes, you keep any winnings - it's a bit like a lottery ticket, once you've bought it - it's your ticket.

Just wish Gap would put their bookies on, as they're the only bookies that allow women mys shoppers

Generally between £3 and £15, plus the cost of the goods themselves. I find it depends on the company; RE don't pay nearly as much as some of the others in my experience, and often require more work per job, but they do have more jobs available.

Generally, if you win at the bookies, you get to keep your winnings, which is a nice bonus. I've never seen a job where they take the winnings back off you. They might decide they don't need to pay your reimbursment for placing the bet, however (but you'll still get the fee!)

    Hi all,

Quick question please! I have just done a pub job for RE in which I did not have to get a receipt and the notes said I would be reimbursed £5 towards drinks. The questionairre asks how much I spent. I can only remember roughly as I thought I didn't realise I would need the amount. Do I put the amount or just put £5?
    TIA x

Thanks paulherts, I'll do that. I only spent £3 odd out of the £5 despite buying the required drinks. Do they still pay the £5 promised?

  • RE only pay what you spent up to the limit for the job, GYP pay the amount quoted for the reimbursement in full.

I always try and spend the RE limit but it is not always possible.

    Cheers Paul

  • Hi,

I'm new to this board but have been doing mystery shopping for over a year. I just joined TNS but keep being rejected for jobs. Is this normal?

Also it's very quiet at the moment where I am or is it just me?

    Thanks in advance
