Have to say where I am I've never been busier, have had to start turning down jobs as I just can't get them all in. Have a meal out 5 out of the next 7 nights for various companies, and my staff do another night!

I just left that bit blank as it wasn't applicable. It took a day or two for jobs to appear on mine too so don't worry yet! I only joined a couple of weeks ago but there has only been one job in my locality so far! I guess we just have to be patient!

Do you mean you are applying for the jobs and being rejected? If that's the case it should give you a reason... like, you did this location recently.

Or...

One niggle I have with the TNS system is it will show a job needs doing, for example, between 4th and 8th December, so I think ok I'll go on 5th... and it won't accept the 5th and just rejects me without a proper reason. Is that what's happening to you? If it is - look closely at the bottom of the job notes on the page before you click to apply - even though it says between 4th-8th you'll find it actually specifies (for example) must be done on 6th so if you apply for any other date it will reject you.

Has anyone ever done a stamps job where you have to post a jiffy bag special delivery? They give you the address to post it to but what on earth do you put in it? What does everyone else do? Do you have to put what you purchased for £5.00 in it? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I put a small portion bag of uncooked rice in it. But you could put some older paper in it instead. Don't worry when they enter the address, and say it doesn't show the address on the system, they have to enter it manually.

You can put any old rubbish in it:rotfl: I just usually put scrunched up paper or an empty carton or something.

If you do buy the special postage and they enter the address on their computer I'm sure that there must be something on their screen about it being a mystery shopping company. Last time I did one the SA's face was a picture:D and she suddenly transformed from a miserable so and so into a super friendly trying to sell me absolutely everything type:eek:

Thanks for that. I didn't know about the dates. The last ones I applied for they told me they would inform me if I had been successful and then I got the email from them the day before the shop date saying I was unsuccessful - no reason given! I haven't done any shops for them as I've just started but it's not from lack of trying!

with tns was that a job where you have to find a stand in a supermarket? they reject me on those, I asked once and its something about not needing them doing at that store or that point or something.
a lot of jobs with tns you find out immediately if its successful.

jedistar - agree with what other people have said about TNS, sometimes even if you have selected a date that's in the range it doesn't work. I usually select the day they have specified then e-mail the area manager if I need to change it.

Also I got a letter from tax people the other day saying according to their records I'm eligible to complete a tax return (registered as self employed few months ago), is this the only correspondence I'll receive until next year for tax return?
