Can I ask a dumb question? :o I have just signed up with GAP and have been looking at the client specific orientations - How do you remember all the info and do the timings without looking like you are 'up to something' lol . I'm sure it will be ok once I've done a few but it seems a bit daunting!
I'd really appreciate some advice from all you experienced MSers. Thanks in advance!

I find entering them on my mobile helps, and just looks like I'm texting.

remembering the timings does get easier with practice though.

i have my mobile set up for split timings on the stop watch. i keep it in my pocket and press the button each time a 'timing point' occurs.

when i get out of the shop i have all my timings and no-one can see what i am doing.

Thanks pebblespop and swattie, I'm sure my old mobile has a stopwatch timer on it, I will have a play. Just waiting for some jobs to appear in my area now. My area was on the list when I applied but has now vanished lol. I'm sure once I've done a couple and found my feet it will all fall into place!

  • Could someone please tell me where the alerts thread is? I have been looking for it but can't find it. I have posted a few alerts on this thread but have no realised from other posts that I should be posting them somewhere else. Thanks!

Can anyone help. I see various alerts for a-bai. I am registered but all it shows is a department store which share the name with a Miss (teenage clothing store). I am I in the correct bit or have I signed up for the wrong thing.
If you can help let me know either on the thread or by PM'ing me.

    TIA

I'm applying for a position with E*A & I was wondering if many of you were successful in getting references from other mystery shopping companies for the application form. I managed to get 1 from an independent allocator but everyone else says it is against policy. What did everyone else do? Thanks!
  • Tizzy79 I was just wondering the same thing! I keep getting the same screen and am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Is that store their only client? Can someone please clear this up for us?
  • Thank you princess leia. If it makes you feel any better my daughter is constantly wriggling on my lap too!

They do have other clients. The best thing is to give them a call or email them and ask if you can add more clients.
