I have a pub meal to do with drinks, one from list a and b. If the meal includes drinks do I still buy a drink from each list seperately as well?? I know I only get one meal reimbursed but I'm buying 2 anyway so will I count the free drinks there as the drinks or buy two extra?

If it doesn't say in the job notes, I should think that provided the shop gets the chance to do everything with the drink sale that they would otherwise, you should be okay getting the drink with the meal. In particular, if you're supposed to order a lager and let them upsell, but the meal only comes with Fosters for free, then that won't be acceptable, as they can't upsell.

Reread the job notes, though: it might be covered specifically. If you're talking about the job I think you're talking about, you can only order certain food items, which may not include any items that come with a free drink. If it does, it may well say what you can do regarding your drinks order.

the meal is sunday specific so I know it comes with the drink but says nothing in the notes, I'll prob just get extra drinks to be on the safe side?

Two points deducted from mine too. I am not sure if the points system is something to worry about if, as I read somewhere else in MSE threads, RE has its own different points system for rating us.
They will put your points back if you contact them- it is worth doing as for spanish restaurants they were only taking people with a 12 mark average- so if you had even changed the date once in your whole time with them you would be lost to Spanish style dining.
  • Could someone tell me what TNS payments appear as on bank statements? (Although I'm assuming it would be something like TNS!!) I have some money in my account that I wasn't expecting so just trying to work out why. Thanks :)

It's listed as Taylor Nelson something (can't remember off the top of my head)! You should know because you should receive a statement from TNS in the post about the same time the money appears in the bank, and that tells you how much they are paying you.

TNS payments. On my statement it says TAYLOR NELSON SOFRES and then 25.00. Should be something like that.

A bit of a dumb question. I use the alerts thread on here and people from my area are saying "this and that has just gone on". My account has not shown any food visits for like 4 months. Anyone else getting this? I'm getting all the other types of visits, just no food ones. Boohoo!
  • Now I feel very silly for not realising - TAYLOR NELSON SOFRES :rotfl:

    Thanks :)

Thanks and that rules me out then as I have changed a date, but only once!

Don't worry about it as they are the crappiest company out there. I got deducted points for daring to be ill in hospital. Friend of mine got deducted 2 points cos her basement got flooded.

Can I ask a dumb question? :o I have just signed up with GAP and have been looking at the client specific orientations - How do you remember all the info and do the timings without looking like you are 'up to something' lol . I'm sure it will be ok once I've done a few but it seems a bit daunting!
I'd really appreciate some advice from all you experienced MSers. Thanks in advance!
