Through the same internet connection or elsewhere?
if the same, then the problems with the router or modem etc
If elsewhere then its looking like the problem is at their end:idea:0

Its a Netgear DG834PN. I have rebooted the router earlier today to no affect.
Could the Zone alarm firewall be stopping the connection.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4 .............................NCFC member No: 00005......... .............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

I was thinking that myself actually
I assume zonealarm is on both pcs? If so and the settings are fine (ie ~ msn NOT blocked) then go ahead and uninstall (for now)
The problem is that its near impossible to 'completely' uninstall. Thats the first job though I think. Uninstall and turn on windows firewall (XP or VISTA?). Run ccleaner (posted above) and retry
if it works then id suggest comodo in place of it

I doubt if ZA is blocking MSN. Why would it suddenly start to block it now? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Zonealarm appears to have many 'quirks', and the latest update could have something to do with it (the latest update has had LOADS of complaints according to their own forums)
Saying that ~ im sure the OPs open to suggestions:idea:0

Comodo is not without it's "quirks" Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
