I wonder if CCCS would let me on if my husband was the main contact but with me as the joint applicant?0

If you aren't presently working I would advise to change your working status and see if there are any benefits you are entitled to.
It looks to me as though you're unemployed currently, so you're already potentially losing out on benefits, free advice etc?No chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670 -
I was hanging on to my self employed status because I was wanting to find out if I could claim incapacity benefit?
What a mess
my head hurts0 -
Morning megisabel
How bizzare! Your OH is me and your my OH! All doing the exact same thing, one spending money thats not there and the other pretending its not happening until its too late!
My wifes dropped another 6K on me this morning and hopefully now thats it. Its taken 6 days to get the whole truth out so I know what your going through.
We've just been talking and one thing I've just realised is, how the hell has she managed to juggle all of these debts alone and still keeping up the facade of a normal family life without having a nervous breakdown?
We've been to the docs this morning and waiting for a call back when they've found the right department to send my wife to, so I'll keep you posted on that. Once we know you can tell your Dr and it should speed things up for you.
I'm off to the bank this ifternoon to open new accounts ready for the DMP (might be an IVA yet!) and so I can take full control of the money.
Tell the OH and get it off your chest!

I can appreciate that, but it isn't helping you. If you're unsure, ring revenue - people are always scared about benefits and claiming but if you don't do it you'll never know. I don't mean to sound tough, but you're potentially losing money and thats what you need right now xxNo chocolate, cosmetics or clothes to be bought before xmas day 14! ~ NPower eBay target £541.670 -
i have rung inland revenue and apparently i only owe 21 pounds to have a fully up to date national insurance contributions account, think this is what they go on for eligibilty for incapacity benefit. my gp would write me a sick note
i just dont know whether to do it or not
my depression seems to make me incapable of making simple decisions0 -
marklunn302, good news that you go to doctors, id be very interested to know what they say. Can i also just say well done to you for being so understanding, hope my OH can be as compassionate and understanding as you are being.0
