Good morning all, I'm having a sit down after my driving lesson.....I'm finally learning to drive at age forty-seven, and it's going fine but in a stressful way!!

Well I'd better dust myself down and get over my dissapointment that pigpen isn't going to appear with purple wings and a large wand and sprinkle fairy dust over my household achievements ( I think that's what they do on the american flylady site, but I did find it rather confusing )

Doing all this cleaning I have exhausted some of my cleaning supplies, now down to vinegar in a spray bottle. Just wondering if we have a list of favourite cleaning supplies....I know lots of people like stardrops, haven't been able to find it at my local Tescos, will look for it when I go into town tomorrow.

    Well done on the driving...:D

If any booger came in here sprinkling fairy dust I would NOT be pleased...plenty dust as it is...and a twitch in my eye from looking for...and finding...cobwebs;) We get doggy biccies!

The cleaning product list...what do you use, how and where is coming together to a thread near you...when Greenbee tells me why we need a pivot table and how...we'll want to know what you all use...

    HHC failed as mum came

Anyone in for one at 11?

My name is Valli and I am a 'special' flylady. I have DS (15) DD (12) cat, 3 gerbils,
I work part time so Fly from Wednesday evenings to Sunday evenings. I am 'special' like Tag and Natty are...

    How you doing Justamum?

Thank you for asking. I feel like someone cares! :A

I'm not feeling too bad today. I have some really bad days, and others where I feel almost "sparky" (doesn't last though ). Most days I just coast.

I really must unglue my bottom from this chair. I need to make some bread, sort out under the stairs and do my patchwork "homework" (which I'm struggling with. I must be really stupid!).

Aaaahhhhhhhhhh - stop the world I need a break!!!

Sorry, i've still not had time to read any of the thread. Hugs to everyone!!

I'm not doing the list today, i'm doing my own....

S/S every room in the house!
Bake raspberry / chocolate muffins to take away

    That's it!

I've managed to cancel another direct debit.....we'd taken out a private dental plan because our NHS dentist changed to private. Anyway, a new dentist opened today and I happened to be walking by with the dogs. Popped my head round the door and they still had places. I had to join from the doorway with a dental nurse going between me and the computer but she was fine about it and loved the dogs so I thought we'll fit in there. That saves me £25 a month and that would have gone up when DD was 11. I love saving money!:rotfl:

Right, I need to go to the shops for the second time today because I haven't got an egg for the muffins!!!

Hope you're all well, hugs again xx

Lilysue - I admire you learning to drive, keep at it. One of our AWOL flyladies Shell (hope you're well hun and that you Mum is ok) passed her test earlier this year and was so pleased. Pigpen is in the process of compiling a flylady cleaning products list.

Went up to get the hoover and got side tracked tidying upstairs and fixing the blind string in the hallway - back down with the hoover now so will hoover and mop downstairs then have a little tea break whilst it dries.

Good morning everyone, sorry haven't had a chance to catch up with any of the threads i've miss but hope that everyone is well and big hello to all newbies.

Been busy here this last few weeks with colds, flu's, tummy bugs and hand, foot and mouth. Good news is that BO got his bar off and seems so much more happier for it. Still have a long way to go with him but at least it's going the right way (he's even back to chasing the cats on three legs:rotfl: ).

Flying wise hubby has been doing most of it, i'm really only starting to feel human again but nows the time to get back to it.

Plan today is to see my sister (their wedding party is tomorrow night) and give her a hand then get the washing sorted as cleared out the kids room yesterday and found enough washing to keep me going till christmas, then do the after school clubs.

So i'll be back later to update, hope everyone has a good day.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Mudbath good news on the dentist. We just took cover through OH work, I have NHS dentist but the hygenist is private - I see her twice a year so getting the money back on her visits covers the cost of my cover anyhow so I have it now if I need it.

Floors just drying whilst I have a cuppa - can't believe how the morning has flown by.

Need to put potatoe in the AGA for my lunch and then resue the living room.

Last room of the day will be family room which needs a bit of sorting as well.

Second wash of the day on the line and I am going to strip DS3 bed to make up my next load.

  • Morning guys and dolls,

Hope everyone is well and welcome to any newbies. Had a great time listening to the brass band last night and then finished the bathroom when I came home :j . Hubby called, he's not started dialysis yet but is fine :j

Have decided only to do things which are productive for when we move house, like de-cluttering surfaces/drawers/cupboards and cleaning furniture which we'll take with us when we move. When we pack our stuff away then we can pull out all the furniture and clean walls and skirting boards. So far today I've:

    Put the bins out

    Done laundry

So my aims for the rest of the day are:

    Voluntary work

    Shopping

    Clean microwave

    De-clutter

    Have a good day everyone
