My daughter's a libran, most argumentative sod on the planet.:D
We are ACE arguers...what you gotta do is
(how disloyal is this to a fellow Libran)
switch sides...
you will get her to completely change her POV
Bet her fave phrase is
(now you will think I am psychic)
...on the other hand...
BTW how stressful do you think it would be if you had a household of 3 - mum (Valli - DS and DD and Valli and the DS are Libran...and DD Aquarian also an Air sign...no wonder the Aries 'poppa' ain't here no more...the rows were...and are..CATACLYSMIC)
Now Toots I was ginving you a get-out clause there...and excuse for your overpowering emotionDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I will save my word doc now and continue later-just scanned through and HAD to get in and wish Toots happy birthday-I'm so glad I haven't missed it yet:)
I have been flying since yesterday and I think I'm all about caught up. I spent Sunday night in hospital with the hip and DF did a fine job of keeping things up here. Now I have to go back to physio and the doctor is advising the Z-lengthening procedure on my hip. I still really want to wait until after baby 2 because I was on crutches from 6 months with DS and I worry the Z-lengthening will worsen things like with my achilles tendon, rather than improve. At any rate-we still have physio to get through before I have to make a decision.
Tag, your note to Valli reminded me...I ironed the bath mats yesterday. And I got a new “laundry transport basket” (since most of my ouch was caused by walking down the little hill with a bundle of clothes falling all over the place) and I now have a system. Put basket on kitchen table and pull out both mine and DF’s chairs-fold clothes as they come out of dryer and place mine in basket and DF’s and DS’s on a chair respectively. Then place DF’s clothes on top of mine and then DS’s. Walk to bedroom and put DS’s clothes in dresser (nearest the door) then DF’s (main cupboard closest to the door) and then mine (main cupboard furthest from the door) walk back up to bathroom to collect next load to be washed or loaded ready for the morning. Basket holds one perfect load and I cleared the mountain that was left from TD not working (about two weeks) in two days.
I think I'll wonder off and check the list to see how much I've done (with DF's help) this week. And then go back to page 21:eek:
From what I squizzed earlier you've all done so well and its so nice to see so many newbies.0 -

S'LIKE THE PARABLE OF THE PRODIGAL SON HERE...:D

D'you know Triker - when DS was born I 'knew' him...and can read him like a book still....but DD was a little stranger and i have had to 'get to know' her ...that's the only way I can explain it..she is wilful, self opinionated but a darling...but she was, for such a long time...'a stranger'...and yet, with them both I 'knew' what to expect...so DS section was NO surprise....not to me and I knew the gender without being told..so much so that my mum was convinced I had been told...but I kept my 'knowledge' to myself.
Now all I need to do is to apply my 'psychic' skils to the lottery and everything will be fine and dandy!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Funny that, same here in many ways. It's easy with DD1 and myself (both monkeys in the chinese zodiac) but DD2, well lets just say I've learned a lot about myself by working on our relationship due to our differences. She's a bit unique but wierdly so very similar to my Dad (another aquarian) who is also barking.:D
