girls - thanks for all your help.Where would i be without your help when these cats of mine keep getting themselves into scrapes? Or come to think of it, anytime i have any problem. I'm feeling a bit naive.
It was grim. I held him while DH grabbed it with tweezers, and needless to say, we lost the head, so he then had to pull that out seperately. No doubt it will now fester. We've disinfected it, and i'll have to keep an eye on it. He is doing funny things with his eye on that side of his head, squinting at us. We want to check to see if he has more, but he is a bit scatty and doesn't like being handled at the best of times. How would we notice more other than when they look like that?
Basically, our house has a field at the back which has horses in it, and then it is the pit tip and a load of allotments, so god knows where he has been or what he has been up to.
Also, is he likely to have brought any in the house, should i be doing anything special to clean the house so the boys and us don't end up with something like that on us - i think i would cry. I am sat cringing as it is.
Edited - now treated them both with frontline. It was due on the 26th of September and i had not remembered to do it. Blooming cats. Worse than the kids for causing me distress0 -
