    My list now;

Monday Misery - Kitchen and Dining Room

    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. DOG TRAINING COURSE (not that i'm excited)
Tooti - the dog training is at 730 but it'll take me half an hour to get there as I checked it out today and it's miles away and down twisty yucky lanes. Oh well, the other one was easier to get to but wouldn't have started for another three weeks. If this one proves a nightmare to get too i'll start the other one as well and continue with that one.

All done on list. I'm shattered, lol. Need to do tea now. Speak later if I get a chance xx

You have nothing to fear Beccah. Valli and I will take you under our wings and look after you;)

Just to enlighten you a bit. It's now a bit of a standing joke that Valli and I came out of the closet, so to speak, and confessed to only hanging out our washing using matching pegs. Coupled with the fact that Valli is a self confessed duster ironer. And I will only iron 15 items at a time.

But, all the joking aside. This is a lovely supportive thread. We're all really nice. Love a giggle (as you may have noticed) And each of us makes this thread special in our own unique way.

You'll love it here I'm sure. Though beware it can become addictive.

Right I'd better go to bed as it's silly o clock yet again and I reallly need to do some flying tomorrow.

lol After my dad caught me polishing a pile of keys this afternoon.....I feel very at home in this thread!!!

Methinks my plans to hit level 3 on my first day were a little bit overly optimistic. Managed level one and then set about descaling the kettle, cleaning and re-arranging some shelves, organising my glass cupboard and and sat polishing the various keys that we have hanging up in the kitchen ( they looked dusty and grimey...I'm not completely OCD) whilst batch cooking a a vat of shepards pie base. So all in all I think I made a pretty good start, HUGE thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

Evening ladies and hugs all round

Justamum I'm glad you're back, I missed you. I'm sorry you feel so down, I am too and I don't think the constant doom and gloom with the economy is helping any of us.

?kids shoes DS3 had new shoes Saturday, he wore them a bit in the afternoon and a bit on Sunday. Wore them to school all day and has a blister on his heel and on the top of this foot. This has never happened before, the girl in the shop was happy with the fit, do you think it is cause they are new or should this never happen with kids shoes? I'll phone the shop in the morning but wanted your views.

Right need to pick up from beavers in a minute but quick list update first.

Harvest - am I mean or money saving?

I hate the way mum's buy stuff from the supermarket, take it to harvest and then we buy it back, usually for less - the only one doing well is the supermarket. This year I've got DS3 to take 10 potatoes out of the new sack I've brought - am I a tight cow?

Silly part is that my normal dailies I usually whizz through in an hour max.

I'm just frustrated today, because it all started so badly. I asked DH to take DD too school. It's less than a minutes walk from our house. He got up and decided that his leg hurt so could I take her. This is at 8.15. I looked like Worzel Gummage, niffed to high heaven, so needed a shower and to wash my hair. Plus I had to iron uniforms, enter iron drama. Consequently DD was 10 mins late for school.

Yes he unloaded and reloaded the DW and S & S the kitchen. Got DD dressed and polished her shoes. And......................(he can insert anything else I might have missed that's important)

So I am spending the day upstairs now, decluttering and pottering. Whilst he spends the rest of the afternoon downstairs watching TVagain:rolleyes: And wondering why I'm a miserable, nag:rolleyes: Sorry rant over. The list can wait till later or tomorrow at the moment.;)

we all have days like this! just do as much as possible and start over tomorrow :grouphug:

Thanks! He is 3 and a half but has developmental delay. He will squeeze a pee out if your take him to the loo every hour and was asking to go a few weeks ago, but has to wear pull ups at nursery, so no idea how he will go today.

If I let him run round naked he will have a pee and I won't know (till I step in a wet patch!) so much better to put him in pants, plus I want him to feel when he is wet.

Slowwww process with him but one day, when he is 18, he will got to the loo on his own! :D

    yep, positive attitude :T :D

I wouldn't worry about it. I thought potty training was a doddle because my DD1 took to it instantly at about 20 months. Then I had my DS . He was over 3 when he was potty trained, but wouldn't do no 2s in the potty for a while (even when he was in year 2 we had some "occasions"). With DD2 she was also over 3. I just waited until she was ready. I would ask her every couple of weeks or so if she wanted to start using the potty, but the answer was always "no". Then one day I asked and she said "yes" and that was it - nappy-free days (I kept her in nappies at night for a short while)

sounds very familiar  - ds is 4.5 now and was rather quick with using potty/toilet for both 'things' - but he still needs nappies for the night - i am not THAT brave :o
dd on the other hand sure takes her time ... little miss already

Aaaah this is ridiculous, for some reason I seem to have totally fallen off the wagon and cannot get myself going at all. The past week or so I have felt things slipping away from me.

I see everyone else's posts and how much they have all done and wonder where they find the time to do it all..seeing as I can't even get myself going to do anything. I have a feeling if I did everything I needed to do every day I wouldn't have any time for anything else..

I am drowning in my own sorrow here, still in my nightie, and have done nothing except 3 hours of cross stitch, watch carp t.v. and browse MSE all morning. I only got up cos a friend rang me at 9.30 and I was thirsty then, so got up for a cuppa and stayed downstairs. I didn't put the computer on till gone midday though..

Where do I start...? Wonder if I am feeling carp because the living room is being decorated and my kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it and I don;t want to tidy it up as I know in a couple of weeks it will be all ripped out and replaced.. Still that doesn't answer why I don't want to tidy upstairs..hmmmm

Off to make another cup of tea..

awww don't beat yourself up over this! you are expecting too much from yourself so start all over and i know you can do it!!!
first step done already coming on here :T
next: give yourself minitasks, write them down here and we make sure you'll do them :D - nawwww, but i find it DOES help to write them on here because when i come back and haven't got anything to report back it feels naff (does that make sense?!?!)

Well this is day 1 for me and so far today I have:

Hoovered lounge, dining room, hall and stairs.
    Cleaned cloakroom
