oh I feel sick as a dog, need to eat but really don't feel like it, a JP would be nice but I don't want to make it myself :( do you think a 22mth toddler could do it for me? :D

you could be taking your life into your own hands there.

although, i wonder if you said to them "can you make mummy something for lunch" what you would end up with ??? :D
  • Icklebeans - glad everything went without incident..

ooo names!!! Don't get me started... funny what you will and will not consider, huh?
We like Jack for a boy (pretty common these days but still blummin' scrummy!) and it goes well with Mr P's surname (same first letter).

For a girl, I know what we'd like, but there may be some family politics around that one! So it may be a harder one.
I'm all up for the favourite name list and see what suits on the day...

I have been cramping again today, feeling SO tired - still no vom vom yet which is good, but WOW! constipation! :o

Well considering every cupboard in the kitchen has a lock on it the only thing he could bring me would be a raw potato:rotfl:or he might be feeling kind and dig out a pack of choc buttons from his little rucksack :A
hmm maybe i will drag myself in there he'll be wanting something too, I'm deff looking forward to him being able to make a sandwich for himself - only about 5yrs to go!

  • Afternoon ladies!

Big ((((((((HUGS))))))))))) to LouLou - I am thinking of you and make sure to take it easy.

I have my first private scan tomorrow (it was supposed to be this evening but that clinic needed to be rebooked, so appointment had to be changed  ). I am looking forward to it, but at the same time I am so nervous they will find something is wrong.

Anyway, I received my Cow and Gate pregnancy diary and toy cow today for joining their pregnancy club - it is just too cute!

Well, today I ordered some maternity trousers. I had some trousers that were a size bigger lying around, and they no longer fit now. I'm a beached whale.

All your meals? That wouldn't work for me. I don't think chilli flakes would go terribly well on eclairs :)

  • Afternoon all! Well "due date" day for me. Was feeling quite happy earlier but then things didn't go quite as planned at mw. She said baby has moved and it now lying in the OP position, which to me, I understand as back to back. Well, as I'm a natural born worrier, started to panic a bit as the only thing I've heard about these types of labour are that they are more painful. Any second or third timers ever been through this?

She did say it could still move around again as being my second, things are "more stretchy" than a first timer, as she put it! Other than that, she suggested getting on all fours.

Bit worried as I don't like the idea of have a c-section. She did say it may not come to that as often they can turn as part of labour, but then I always expect the worst! Also am measuring 42 wks so it sounds like I'm in for a big one (dd was 7lb 9 and she said will be bigger than her, but not necessarily 10lb plus, see, another panic I went into!).

She (and you) must all think I'm a bit nutty! I think I just woke up a bit tearful and hormonal and expected all plain sailing...... Oh well.

    Hope everyone else is ok.

Sorry to hear things didn't go to plan at the drs loulee, take it easier hun x

Awww never mind icklebeans, I'm sure you'll get to "see" the twins again soon. At least you are keeping well x
