We now have a new thread

Oh dear that one takes me to the TTC 12m+ thread not the TTC after miscarriage thread started by Skintchick - I'm getting most confused with all these threads now!0 -
They closed down the threads and open one for straightforward TTC and one for TTC12+ and those with problems. Have a look at the first post/page...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

In these days of doom and gloom - just let me tell you my story.
First baby conceived after 3 months of trying at 37 years old. OH wanted another baby. I wasnt too sure but we tried and tried for 18 months. Eventually I booked in to have some tests. Whilst I was waiting for the tests to come through my GP told me to sit in her 'lucky' chair. She had had women with all sorts of problems sit in this chair and bingo. As I had not met her before I thought she was a complete nutter....
A month later I started IVF. I was told period would be a few days late because of the drugs I was taking. Nothing happened. I took a pregnancy test and I now have two darling boys (age 6 and 11!). Immediately stopped the IVF and 9 months later had a son
My advice would be follow your heart. I passed a beautiful chuch in London whilst we were trying. I went in and lit a candle and said a little prayer and I am not a believer in the slightest. Although the medical profession doesnt think much about those Clearblue predicition tests I thought they were useful After a couple of months I knew I was a regular 28 day gal.
And finally. The GP retired a couple of years and took her 'lucky' chair with her........0 -
Hey... here'smy entry for this morning on FF... thought I'd post here and keep you all up-to-date.
Morning all,
oh well... no BDing since I got to the fertile part of the month. OH tired and working long stoopid hours.
Plus, after having a little bit of a tiff last night I suddenly realised that I knew all about cycles etc, whilst OH doesn't know anything.
Bless him, he thought there were lots of times a month when a lady could concieve, so when I said to him 'I'm fertile' and he was too tired, he didn't place too much importance on it! And same when he had to work late and I went to bed.
I should have explained to him!
And there I was sitting there thinking OH had been 'distant' since we decided to start TTC 2 weeks ago and maybe he wasn't really that keen.
Turns out, that he wasn't being distant, but was tired and preoccupied with work and didn't know about fertile days and there only being 4 or 5 days a month optimum time!
Can't see EWCM this morning... so I guess it's on to next month!
Hope all is well out there!

Sorry, as ginvzt said. They closed down 3 threads and made 2 in their place. The thread I linked to is for ttc for 12+ months AND after having had a mc. If you search for posts by Glad she explains why the threads were locked and re-started.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that's what had happened:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

I guess the TTC after miscarriage one is gone then - I think Skinty started this one as she didn't want to post on straightforward TTC or TTC12+ as she felt it was a bit of a downer.
I guess there will naturally be some overlap between the threads anyhow due to the nature of TTC!0 -

Thanks Shelly - I don't fit in to the 12m+ thread so think I'll post on the regular one.
I hope Skinty is ok x0 -

I agree with you about the overlap and such, and it was fine to have those three threads, but I suppose we can't argue with the rules....Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Yes, the mc one has gone. Here is Glads explanation of why....I don't think we should have a different thread for each problem as the Family board is strictly a moneysaving board and non moneysaving threads should really be in the Arms or DT. The pregnancy thread and parent thread do include moneysaving tips so they are fine, and when the TTC posts were included in the pregnancy thread it wasn't an issue, but if they are to be in a separate thread then they should probably all be in one thread, to keep the moneysaving threads the main focus of this board:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. Mine was a bit shocked and didn't believe when I said that egg is 'live' only for 24 hours. He was convinced it is 5 days at least!!!
I put him on vitamins with zinc and he was sceptical again (he doesn't believe me at all!!!!!). Well, we accidentally caught sex education on TV the other night and they said that men loose a lot of zinc during the 'performance' :rotfl:He was really baffled.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
