Congratulations Catw0man :T:T:T:T Lots of sticky baby dust to you.
MadMac you are so not a failure! I know exactly how you feel, every month for the past 4 at least we have done teh SMEP plan and bd'd loads around ov day, used pre-seed etc etc etc all to no avail. It doesn't make sense does it when you do what you know you have to do and it still doesn't work. I still can't believe how sooooo many people seem to have accidents! Indulge yourself today and dig deep to find some PMA for the coming months.:grouphug:0 -

So does the CBFM tell you when you're about to ovulate and when you have actually ovulated?
I tested with an ov stick yesterday, both lines were the same. tested again today and the line wasn't as strong - does that mean I've already ovulated?!0 -

Hi Greenr, i am no expert as only my second month with it (bitzer is excellent at this) but yes in theory you start testing when it asks, for me CD5 and it tells you when you have a low chance of conception, then (thanks to bitzer maloney!!) the oestrogen level increases up till you ovulate, this is termed high fertility, it tells you this too, where you still have a chance of conception and then it tell you when you have ovulated (or peak fertilty)..
i have never used the other sticks so have no experience of them but i am sure someone else will be able to tell you?
sorry couldnt help you any further xx0 -
Congrats to Catwoman. Fingers crossed for more BFPs this month (and me, please!)
Hugs to Pirate, Madmac and Emmzy...and anyone else who needs one.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Greenr, the OV stick test is showing a huge surge when the test line is at least as dark as the control line, you can then expect to ovulate around 12-36 hours after this surge. I don't then bother to test again once I've had a positive test as I just know to get on with BDing! But your test the next day just indicated the surge had passed.
To really reassure me that I then go on to release an egg, I also check my basal body temperature and the moment that shoots up, I know I definitely have ovulated and the egg has been released, but in terms of BDing it is not good to wait for a rise in temperature - that is usually then too late!0 -

Thanks MadMac... so even though the 'surge' had passed, I still might not have ovulated? sorry to sound thick, it's all new to me!0 -
