Well, pregnancy test at the ready, but will wait until the weekend (slaps hand hard) as I don't want to waste one

I told OH I was all prepared for testing (no feeling at least that AF is on the way yet) and said if I got a BFP I would drive up to see him at work rather than calling him. He replied that if I got a BFP then I shouldn't be driving all that way! Ah bless, if he is like that at the start, what will he be like in 8 months' time! :rotfl:

Feeling a little sorry for myself. Just come back from the dentist and I thought I was having the rest of my fillings and my inlay.....was I wrong!!:rolleyes:

4 fillings and my wisdom tooth out:eek:. It looks like I've been fighting, my face is a little puffed up......but on the plus side I've god a gold inlay....bit of bling:rotfl::rotfl:

I was crying while she was doing the fillings as I just wasn't quite numb enough and I could feel everything My tooth just popped out though so I'm waiting for the tooth fairy tonight!!


In other news....this sounds kinda like a good way to go....until you actually read how he died! man dies in vat of chocolate

Do you girls drink alcohol while TTC?

I've just come off the pill (about 3 weeks ago now) so can't try properly until my cycle sorts itself out but am aware that potentially I could conceive at any time.

I've still been drinking red wine but am worried that I could be doing some damage in the unlikely event that it does happen. (I've been on pill for about 6 years)

Gill, I still have a glass of red wine every now and again, I just make sure don't overdo it. I did abstain for a long while, but can't say it helped!

gill, I have a drink if I fancy one, but normally in the first half of my cycle. To be honest, as long as you don't go and get wrecked you should be fine! If you fancy a drink, have one just not a whole bottle (wine/vodka etc)

Oooo you could be quids in then, especially if your tooth is big:D My nephew gets £2:eek: for a big tooth & £1 for a small one and i reckon with you being a little older than 5yrs you have more outgoings so there should be AT LEAST one '0' after the number so by my reckoning you'll get at least £10;) :rotfl:

Everything in moderation Gill:D:D I tend to stop drinking when I start to feel woozy/tipsy:o I sound like an alky but I get like that after only 2 glasses:o:o

Great news CatWoman - fingers crossed - had to look up what TLP was

kmckee999 - have you been to the docs to see what they say? Here's me moaning at CD37. I am trying to decide if I should test again mabybe next week. Fingers cross they sort themselves soon.

Put me down for Sunday - that would be CD40 - telling myself the test last week must have been a faulty batch

Nunny - Oh my goodness you poor thing - you reminded me of the tooth I had to have pulled on 23rd Dec. Stupid dentist didn't realise it should have been done at the hospital.....over an hour of pulling/cutting etc til she FINALLY managed to get it out. I am so scared of teeth pulling (had one done a few years back) so was crying the whole time too It was an absolute nightmare, I couldn't stop shaking after....and had to go to work a few hours later :eek::eek::eek: needless to say, I came home early! And it got infected after too :lipsrseal (closest looking one for "about to vomit") I hope your mouth heals well and doesn't put you off BDing

gill - I'm still drinking, but have cut down to weekends (or should I say, fri-sat-sun ) in an effort to be a bit healthier and to prepare myself for no drinking when pg It's up to the individual what they choose, but personally I don't see the point in stopping until you get your BFP. You could be trying for months or longer, so imagine how that would affect your life if you like to drink socially/have a quiet one in the evening? I'm just being a bit more careful and not drinking to excess

I can't comment on the drinking while TTC as I'm teetotal, but I reckon a little bit of what you fancy, not going to excess.

confuzzled, OH keeps saying he thinks I deserve a treat for being so brave at the dentist (I think he secretly thinks I'm about 5!) lol!!
