I'm so so bored today:rolleyes: I spend my life wishing time away, I want days to go faster when I'm in work, weeks to go faster for OV & bding, months to fly by for summer!!

I have somehow managed to make an hours worth of workspread though the day:eek: If I'm honest I've actually spent most of my day on here lurking the boards and randomly posting:o:o I'm sure my boss wouldn't be too impressed if he knew:rotfl::rotfl:

Hahaha!! You sound like a friend of mine :D

I agree, time seems to come to a standstill when your life is revolving around these timeframes....I hope you have success soon - well, then you'll be wishing the months away until you can meet your baby i suppose :rotfl: long may the waiting game continue! :rotfl:

Lol good idea. I need to find a new job, but I really don't want the stress and disappointment when I can't get anything. Think I'll have to wait for the "current financial climate" to improve

Yeh I know what you mean, I guess it's the routine of "work, evening x5 then weekend, start again" sort of thing. It speeds things up even if you're so focused on a timeframe, because you're so busy!

Emmzy, I would say wait until after the next sample is supplied - they could end up giving bad news this week and good news the next otherwise - and I know which one I would prefer...

Ooh, and I must be the exception because I quite enjoy what I do for a living - even though the hours can be an absolute killer! Well, it keeps my weight down if nothing else... my OH actually complained I had become too skinny not that long ago!

I work in IT on a self employed basis, so if I don't like a customer I just don't work for them again! But the hours can be long, especially on urgent jobs - and I don't get paid for taking holidays!
