Thanx nunnygirl u have made my decision, tattoo place here i come, my app is 3 weeks time! sorry ur feelin bit crappy, it does get to sometimes doesnt it im a bit that way too at mo.
Thanks kmckee, don't forget the pictures when you get it done. I can hear a tattoo machine from where I'm sitting now, and it's making me itch, I want another tattoo so badly now!!!redstararnie76 wrote: »Nunnygirl -apologies if I'm going over old ground (264 pages is too many to go back and check), but I'm currently trying to lose the remains of my baby weight (from 4 years ago!) and someone has pointed me in the direction of the www.foodfocus.co.uk website which I'm finding really helpful. I'm not sure of your circumstances, but for me, I have real issues with my will power and I'm finding the particular features on this website really helpful (in particular the way it moniters my food consumption against a recommended allowance and shows what that day's saving in calories equates to in weight loss). Hope this might be helpful?
Thanks for this, I'm about 19ish stone, 5'8" and of a big build. When I measured myself this afternoon I've lost about an inch and a half from round my hips/tummy in about 2 weeks :j
It's the will power with me too, I can stop eating the cakes, crisps, chocolate and everything else thats bad for me.....but then when OH eats them, I got to have some too!! We were watching the "Worlds Best Diet" on ITV last night and we've decided to try the Japanese diet, as he loves fish, and I love vegetables
He's promised me (another!) Wii and WiiFit when we get some money, which hopefully will be soon:j:T:j
Will have a looksee at the website now:TSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

I think it depends on how long he cycles for Leopardlady. Fern said something about new saddles that are made to let "mens bits" hang
:rotfl:
I'm feeling down:(
I've got the house to myself and I was going to lie on sofa and watch tennis and eat a big bag of sweeties I got for my birthday BUT I can't seem to chill out:mad:
But good news... painter man has finished painting the house and it looks great:j:j:j
And I've ordered OV sticks ready for BDing this month;)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Why do you feel down smartie?? I'd like nothing more than to be able to lie on my sofa with a bag of sweeties, but not with the tennis, it's not my idea of funSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Leopard Lady - Glad to hear the jobs going well:D Can't help you about the cycling though!
Nunny - You HAVE to get a Wii Fit when funds allow, it's the best thing EVER:T I've been doing the yoga and although I haven't lost weight I have definitely toned up:j It's great for my flabby bits;) And the running is knackering:eek: I swear I do the running for 10mins each time but the damn thing tells me it's only 3mins.....I know its the machine thats lying:rotfl:
I'm the same for the food too, fine if it's not been opened but as soon as Dh opens that pack of biccies I not so slowly seem to inhale them:eek: Or if Dh has some ice cream I want some too...normally I do, but have a smaller portion(although I'm a foot shorter than him so probably not gonna help any:rolleyes:) makes me feel like I'm being 'good' anyways:D
And its happened again......the cleaner is here and I'm desperate for a pee, might have to kick her out the loos or summat!!1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

I suffer from depression normally anyway but coming off the pill has caused all sorts of side effects including feeling downIt didn't help that most of the side effects were same as PG symptoms! Luckily my boobs aren't hurting as much:)
And I also have a work related problem thats stressing me out:mad:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Thank you to the person who posted the food focus link, not seen that one before but have just joined. I am only about half a stone over my 'happy' weight (lost 2 stone a few years ago) but I think that's why its hanging around - because its 'only' 7lb I can't seem to get motivated enough to shift it.
Anyway have chucked all my details in there and like the way it instantly gives you a weekly target and works everything out for you, just trying to work out what I do with the food log for things I've made myself.:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
I have a wii fit confuzzled.... but haven't been on it for agesssss:o
Maybe I'll get it out and blow away the cobwebs soon:D
It was one of those things that we went on all the time when we first got it then haven't been on it since! In fact we haven't been on the Wii at all for ages either:eek:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

I've got a video on my OH's phone of me on WiiFit in The Bullring in Birmingham....it was SO funny!!! I did the slalom skiing (which I was bad at!) and the tightrope walking (which I was apparently quite good at!)I have a wii fit confuzzled.... but haven't been on it for agesssss:o

That was like us when we got the Wii the first time. I begged and begged OH to get one, he got one, we had it for 6 months and we gave it to our niece and nephew for christmas. We went to their house on Sunday and we weren't off it!!!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Hello. Can I join you? (I feel all shy and nervous, approaching such a big group, which is a bit silly.)
I've just turned 35 and trying for a baby with my boyfriend. Nothing has happened as yet and so i am taking a look at what I am eating - and drinking -and trying to be more proactive about it. I am overweight.
Wiifit is the only exercise I have ever enjoyed - not true, I do like swimming and walking, if I'm in a nice place - it is good. Def worth collecting the chnage up for - although sounds like you have another plan coming together.0
