What I thought was AF started 15 days ago but only lasted 3 days when it normally lasts 7-8 days & is really heavy TMI but I normally need to change every 3-4 hours during the day, I could have just used 1 tampon all day & it still wouldn't have leaked.

Since then I've felt sick, had sore boobs, been bad tempered, can't stop going to loo.

Rang for results today BFN but felt sick in Asda & bought own brand HPT both BFP what do you think?

    Are Asda own brands accurate.

Crikey, what a nightmare!! Have you called the doctors to let them know you've got a bfp on the hpt:confused:
I think false positives are v.v. rare!! Have a look at this http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/falsepositivedrsoffice.html or google false positive results.

Let us know if you find anything out hun

Hi all, hope things are going well and I've missed lots of BDing in my absence!

Just quickly scanned back through the postings and instantly spotted Ted's posts on vitamin D. He has posted about this many times before on this board, the 12+ board and lots of others I have noticed in all my time TTC. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he means well, but those sorts of posts can get a very terse response and are not always helpful to us ladies TTC. It is very much putting your head in to the lion's den!

Natalie, a positive is a positive. So ring your doctor and tell them - your hormones just might not have risen enough when you were tested, but just in case something else hid the positive, you really should see them again. But congrats from me for now and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, x

Looking forward to the weekend everybody? I'm waiting on AF to arrive today still and get it over with... still haven't managed to get OH to see the doctor. Why are men so pig headed?

Oh well, have now started saving for one round of IVF...

I usually cut them into thirds and chuck them in with the chicken for the last 45mins-1hr....just make sure they're coated in the juices/oil....it's a b*gger trying to get them off the bottom of the roasting tin otherwise:o:rotfl:

Back to the potato issue (clears throat!) :rotfl:

I boil mine up in water for about ten minutes or so, until they are just about starting to soften on the outside. While they are boiling, my fat goes in a tray in the oven (whatever fat you fancy - I'm still using the ridiculously expensive pot of goose fat we bought in Waitrose at Christmas!). Then I drain the water, put the lid on my pan and give the potatoes a little shake to fluff them up a bit, then straight in to the hot tin, a stir around to cover them in hot fat, then bake in a hot oven for an hour if you like them crunchy. Delicious! Ooh, I'm wanting to cook a roast now - but am having salad tonight
