Hi Maybebaby, i agree about the TLP, so congrats, keep us informed over the next couple of days :)

Sorry some of you have had scheduling problems and travel issues, OH and i have not done that much this week either as he has played two gigs and i have had a day in London and an evening conference, oh well at least we have a few days away coming up. (I did ask him if he thought we would be able to bd at his mates house and he said "Idon't see why not"!!)
Well i think i may have a look at baby and bump, not been there yet, but as i am now a member of boots parenting club! I think i should have a look at the funny things to do with all this ss and 2ww!

Very sticky baby dust to all :)

  • Thank you all for the replies. Am still freaked out a little!
Did another ebay test this morning and it was again a TLP (thanks for this lingo!), it appeared in about 3 minutes this time, so getting a little quicker.
Am running to the loo all the time to check for AF cause I am still getting pains and sort of small stabbing pains in my stomach, sides and tops of my legs – anyone any ideas what this is??? Another thing that is freaking me out.
Am not sure whether to go and get a CB or not, not sure if this will put my mind at ease or not.
DH still thinks it isn’t happening!!!
Thanks again for listening to my crazy worries.
    Bump due 30th December 2009 :j

Hi Maybebaby, try not to freak out too much, i found i had lots of odd pains when i got my bfp, try and relax and enjoy the weekend and try not to test until monday if you can, then you can make an appointment to register with the docs and relax into being pg.

You can always rant away on here, so don't worry :)

It will get darker maybebaby80 congrats. I had a TLP for over a week last time. My hcg levels were just not strong enough to be detected. I was never happy with it being TLP and dh kept saying all the time i wasn't pg.

This time however it was so strong and i did the test when i was a day late and in the evening when dh was home from work.

I finally went to the docs to tell them about pg so i can get my first apt with midwife but i only went because i am covered in bumps so had to get them checked out. ive got a viral infection and have to cover myself in cream. Doc said oh congrats i guess! MEN!
Not going to ring for an apt yet until i get past 6/7 weeks when i lost bub. Does that sound silly as it could still happen anytime. Midwifes here don't see anyone untill 8 weeks anyway so there isn't any hurry to phone.

Hi elastigirl, i understand about waiting to register, my midwifes don't see you until around 10wks, so not sure if i will hurry to register. Well that is if my bfp arrives.

    Baby dust to all :)

  • Hi there I'm new! Had my implant out on monday so will be trying for a baby soon. We are hoping to wait a couple of months to get a regulal cycle before we start trying but from previous history we can't really be trusted with this so even though not quite trying for a baby yet can I join in???

You guys use an awful lot of terms that mean nothing to me though, I'm sure I can guess what you mean by bd in general terms but what does it stand for??
  • okay so i found a link to a list of abbreviations and wow there were a lot!!!!

I'm liking baby dance, it's mainly refered to as shenanigans in our house he he.

Congrats maybebaby80 - on the TLP

No luck here on pouncing on him when asleep - I was upstairs and he was on the sofa!

Todays revelation is "I don't know why we are bothering" from him! Keeps asking me why I think this month would be different to the last 4, and he's adament he can't have kids anyway (no evidence though!) Thinking he's going off the whole idea, but hoping it's just cos he's unwell. He knows the statistics, and I've said after 6 months of actively trying (so if he doesn't perform this month it won't be til July) I'll go to doctors (i'm 35) but not til then. I think he's just worried in case there's a problem with him, not based on facts, so preparing us for the worse...... doesn't make it less frustrating though.

Anyway ....maybe I can talk to him tonight ........wine's in the fridge, got money for a takeaway, (and still got EWCM & a peak) so all may not be lost . .. . . . fx

    Have a good weekend all

Oh Cedrickbaby, i hope you get to have some fun tonight, men can be very annoying sometimes, but we still love them and need them, so try and have fun, the wine and take away sound like a great plan.

Very sticky baby dust to all, have a fabulous weekend, see you all next week :):):):):)
