    Hello Everyone!

It is early days for us as we are only in our first month of trying, but it is sooo exciting but scary at the same time! :rotfl:

At the risk of sounding stupid, could someone help me with what all the abbreviations are? It is confusing to read the threads when you don't understand what they mean! Thanks in advance!

Good luck to everyone who needs it!

Here's to lots of early nights from now on!

(I still read the TTC threads, its not sunk in that I'm actually pregnant yet!)

Well I'm non-symptom spotting officially now. ( I said it was the new thing!). I'm due on tomorrow and as yet there's no sign of sore boobs for me either. They are normally full and quite sore for about 5 days before.
I'm not normally one to get over-excited each month, but I'm starting to wonder now...
Can't possibly say anything to OH as he's getting a bit down about it of late and I don't think he would deal with it too well if I allowed him to get wound up and then it was a let down. Here come's the waiting game....

I am SO sorry Jiblets! Can't help feeling that's partly my fault!

I'm unsure when af is due - tomorrow for a 26 day cycle, but I think it was day 15 or 16 that I ov'd (does anyone know how long after getting a positive line on an ov stick you actually ov?), so it could be Wednesday and a 28 day cycle if my luteal phase is 14 days.

I'm not taking a test until Saturday if af doesn't show though - not wasting my ludicrously expensive Clearblue with Conception Indicator tests - they were a really good idea to avoid 'curiosity testing'!

Well after writing about my lack of symptoms only a couple of hours ago, a warm bath has given me some little back aches, so it may be enroute with or without the sore boobs!
    Grrrr.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o
  • Evening all, liking the shiny new thread!

I've just been catching up on everyone's news - haven't posted for a little while for a couple of reasons - firstly I've got accountancy exams in November which I'm having to study loads for - catching up on here at the end of the evening is my treat, sad or what :o

And secondly, my OH proposed! :j :j

Very excited and have been doing lots of research on wedding ideas. We've discussed the fact that wedding planning and ttc are not great things to put together, but don't want to wait for either. So I'm now stuck wanting to get pg but at the same time half hoping I don't for a few more months so I can get married next May without being huge :D

And we all know that when you stop wanting something it happens, so what I'm actually doing is reverse psycholog'ing myself into getting pg this month!

    Baby dust to all xx
  • morning all... ooo! a shiney new thread!
    CONGRATS to Beebuzz!!! :D

Well, another weekend and yet more chats..! :D Good ones of course!

We only had a week left to wait until we started TTC, but we simply couldn't wait and we BD'ed for the first time this weekend.

    How exciting!

Did anyone else feel, I dunno, different when they BD'ed for the first time?
I was on the pill for years and OH and I used that as protection. Now I'm not on it anymore, although it's the technically the same experience, it felt, strange... ha ha! In a good way of course...

...I suppose, spending 13 years of my life trying NOT to get pregnant, and then trying TO get pregnant... It felt so wierd!!! :D

I'm still getting my head around cycles and phases etc... but I'm getting there! OH is much better than me! I am CD13 today... (32 day cycle).

anyways... good luck to all, babydust and glue!!!

LP - I remember the first time me and OH had 'real' sex as he calls it! Was years and years ago, but there was definitely a very different feeling! Hard to explain.

  • I found this thread (hope it's ok to post it here) and thought it might be helpful for all you ladies who have the 2ww. My "symptoms" at the moment are gentle tuggings in my lower stomach, doesn't feel like AF coming, lower backache and a stuffy nose. These symptoms appeared yesterday which I think would have been 7 days after ovulation. Fingers crossed. I did another test :o one of the cheapies off of ebay but it was still BFN.

My fertiltiy monitor arrived today but I haven't opened it. I'll stick it back on ebay as BNIB if by some miracle I don't need it. ;)
