Evening ladies,
I feel a bit strange posting about my appointment with my GP after the events of this week with some of you but hopefully when the time comes this will be useful for someone!
I didn't get given another pregnancy test as everyone said I wouldn't. I would have thought the docs would want to be sure but hey ho. Apparently if you get a positive it's a positive.
The doc calculated my due date and how far gone I was. Apparently you start counting weeks from the date of your last period so I'm 51/2 weeks and due 29th Sept. Somehow made it seem more real when she told me that.
I then had to book an appointment with the anti natal clinic. I've got this for about 2 weeks time and it's here you get the form for free prescriptions and start filling in 'your book' that you carry around with you to all your check ups.
After this I can choose my hospital and then get a date for scan through from that hospital.
Good luck everyone with trying for a baby. I'm hoping this isn't some huge mistake as I don't really feel pregnant,e.g. no sickness etc.
Anyway enough of my rambling. Tomorrow's Friday, yipee!
Sticky baby dust to you all.

Morning all, yipee its friday, or at least i should be feeling like that.
I am a bit down today as OH has gone away for a boys weekend and i was really hoping to bd one last time this month, last night, but he went to a concert and got really drunk, so nothing last night and then he was too tired this am! I am really wanting a big cry and feel stupidly emotional about it. I know that i have 5 days until AF is due so should just be keeping my fingers crossed, but i just want to cry.
Sorry for the little winge so early on a Friday, i hope that all of you get a fab weekend and that we all get a couple more bfps very soon.

CD23 for me today, after oving yesterday wanted to bd again last night but I'm in reading mode at the moment (=constant non-stop reading) I managed to tear myself away from my book around midnight quickly did a bit of foreplay to wake OH, got down to business and was back reading my book in half an hour
. At least that's the last time I have to do that this month! Feel a bit bad about it, especially as OH was on an early shift this morning and going out straight after work - he will be so tired. Possibly not the best way to go about things but wanted to give myself the best possible chance of getting pregnant.

Hi Guys, me again!
Right i am on cd26/31 and i think i am oving today!! Is it possible to ov twice in one month????
I will be gutted if this is the only time i ov this month as we tried really hard around the normal time and had lots of signs i ov'd and now OH is away for the weekend i would miss it all!
So anyway i will be gutted, and surely if i ov this late in my cycle, my AF could be late as well, and this would not mean a bfp????
Sorry for all the questions, but i was very hopeful this month and this will leave me very low and a little confused.
Oh well thanks

Why do you think you're oving again? If its linked to CM or to a temperature shift (upwards), than that could be a good sign that you are pregnant this month.
I would have thought you are far too late in the cycle to be oving a second time as your AF is less than a week away. If it is based on an OPK, then these sometimes show +ve when you are pg as the LH hormone and the HCG hormone are apparently very similar in structure.

Hi i agree with Nicky if you temperature has risen then that is a sign that you have ovulated and you would not ovulate again. I think that when you release two eggs then it is within a short space of time? In the week before you have AF you can sometimes get some egg white mucus, this is normal and does not mean that you are fertile again. Just keep on bd before and just after ovulation and hopefully you will get your bfp.0
