If I get my Icesave money back, I'm seriously thinking about a large donation to Naomi House, the charity that helps to provide respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and families from across the south of England. They took a bath in the Icesave sinking and as a non-private investor, currently look like losing all of their money.
That's very good of you. I wish I felt I could do the same. With any luck some of this country's richest will step in and help (and offset against tax). As a resident of a small town in Kent I'm also pretty concerned about Kent County Council's missing £50 million. Who on earth was advising them?!! Their public services are pretty ropey at the best of times! What now?!!
For me, I fancy a new kitchen (the dog trashed ours when he was a puppy) ... oh, and a nice trip to Argentina ... and perhaps some more gold fillings!0
