    Avira has a better database than AVG (In fact all of the 'anti virus' programmes that I know of!)

    Yeah, ive only just started using it myself. I scanned my new computer with no problems :confused:. There are some....erm......dodgy programmes ;), which escaped no problem.

    Can't give specifics at the moment as it's been removed from my test machine but it wanted to remove lots of DOS batch files that I had written, that I know are clean.

  • Use Avira the 8 version is to bloated Avira i feel is a lot better. Plus don't forget to use a spyware program also. I use superantispyware and the both keep my PC clean no probs.
