i think poxy is offensive and you should watch your language in future. just because you dont find it offensive doesnt mean anyone else does. what good does it do to be aggressive and rude to the person your trying to get money off, god use your common sense woman.

Mmm Poxy is not a rude word, I think youll find its a generalisation not
a directable word, in other words the word poxy is directed at the eight pound not the person..

i.e Poxy House (meaning shambles or small) Poxy Car (wont start) Poxy Epoxy Resin (Didnt Work/Stick).......

Don't doubt yourself a minute more... some people can just be too sensitive for their own good. You know you weren't swearing - you apoligised if you caused offence - that should be the end of it.

90 year old granny (which she is not as she says shes a computer programmer (that sells pokemon cards?!!??)is extremely aggressive and nasty.Rudest woman i have come accross.
I have 99.9% positive and its 1000 postitive ,she has 3 negatives(570)and her percentage is 98.5% so who is the one who is rude & difficult to people??I am polite but when people accuse me of stealing without actualy saying it it is in the right context to say "why would i steal a your poxy(translated your small!!)£10 cheque when people i sell lots of £50 stuff that comes in gift vouchers.
As you can see you are the only person who thinks this (done any computer programming recently!!??(lol), if it was the general thought i would change what i say but it doesnt seem to be and dictionary does not treat it as a bad word.
also if you are too sensetive you also have to change or people will continue to offend you.I apologised and i got abused all over again by her so maybe its her that should chill..ive said im not answering her anymore as shes so abusive.

To alleviate your stress about being reported, I have reported people for three different offences recently (proper abuse and threats being one of them, ebay policy breaking being another) and found Ebay disinterested to say the least. Do not worry and NPB the woman already!

Indeed, it sounds like it your buyer who is offensive and rude and aggressive.
I would have nothing more to do with her if she persists. You have, of course, all her comments made to you, and can report HER accordingly.

OFFTOPIC/ Every word to everyone can be offensive, so do we have to only use words which we know cannot possibly be classed as offensive in some people's opinion??? Of course not - that is PC gone mad.
In fact, jr666, I am offended by your blatent and unwarranted use of the word "god", but you didn't know that and you don't consider it an offensive word, obviously, and I wouldn't go around lambasting you for using it either because i've simply got better things to do with my time.

    Give Mandles a break.
