Any views on Capital One anyone? I know they are covered by the 50K but they are parented in the US.0

The Tesco internet saving account doesn't look too good to me ... they're not up-front about needing a card reader to transfer money and a lot of people have been caught out by this, who want to withdraw money quickly.
Sainsbury's online account has received awards and looks a decent bet (run by RBOS but Sainsurys have the banking licence), though you have to receive your interest yearly I believe.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -

The Tesco saving account does require a card and reader to set up payees as does the Natwest e-saver both those accounts are run by RBS and currently pay 6.5%
Sainsburys is run by HBOS but only pays 5.5%0 -

There are still some traditional building societies left, some offer good rates and some appear to be sound and solvent. Try

I really don't know what you're on about with these card readers.... from the link, they are debit card machines (like I used to use to charge customers at work)....? you need one of those to operate your savings account???0
