A while ago in Selfridges Trafford Centre I saw personalised diamante charms that could be added on belts to spell out names or messages. I'm not sure how much they were but they seemed a lovely idea for little girls. Does anyone know any secure sites that these can be ordered from?

Try pinkiepoos - think the OP got the spelling wrong.

The candles aren't very big though - the description says 2"high by 1" wide.

Doh, sorry - getting the name wrong.


Although the candles are only little they do look lovely all wrapped up - the seller makes a beautiful job of them and when they are wrapped in cloth it makes a nice little gift that a child can take to school for the teacher (without having to wrap it, few more pennies saved).

Note: The book isn't like the Disney books, it is a unique story in which your star actually stars. All of the text is built around the child/star as well - the image/photograph of the child is just great!

Brilliant ! Many thanks. I've been looking for a site just like this as I don't like the 'millions' of other sites that are bog standard. My Mum and Dad got me a similar book (Wizwam) when I was little and I still treasure it .

We found a site that does loads of personalised gifts.

1 over 300 different money pots that can be personalised
2 Teddy bears that you can write you name on or love message
3 Scroll arrows, they are a bit like cupids arrow and you can put a personalised message in it.
4 A silver business card holder that can be engraved

Not particularly cheap but certainly a unique present. At http://uk.mymonopoly.com/ you can create your own personalised Monopoly set, where you get to name all the places.

I think this is a lovely idea.
