hi fairy face.. im a private seller as im selling all the things i bought when i had money ... now theres a joke! trying to turn the enormous things i have amassed into cash to help the situation!

I was made redundant 6 months ago, and so need to have a backup for when my redundancy money runs out, so have recently got back onto eBay after a long abscence (but have been using eBid for quite some time.)

Did 10 new and 10 re-lists yesterday and have over 150 unsolds from the free-listing bonanza to go through and check before re-listing

And I'm supposed to be doing my ECDL homework ..................

Oh noooo , I listed an item that finished on 12th september. The winner has problems with paypal!!!!! & eventually paid on the 30th September by postal order I dispatched on the 2nd October by 2nd class postage, they have just filed an item not recieved. I didn't send by recorded post! What shall I do? Why am I so nice?
    Any help would be grateful.
    Thanks

  • just explain to them that it was dispatched on the second, which was only Friday, so I think they are being very pushy expecting it to get there by today.
second delivery does always say allow five working days so dont panic

I would gently remind them when it was posted, they may have seen the date of sale on their ebay and forgotton how late they paid.

Had a good weekend sales totalled £152, £98 receievd already. Spent a lot of time sorting and photographing more stuff to list, so I can list in the evenings during the week. Aiming for 5 things a night, getting them ready to post is a real hassle, so don't to deal with too many packages at once!

p.s. I'm also doing the eBid "Pink Fridays" October promotion to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Care:

    http://www.pinkfridays.org.uk/

To find the listings, go to http://uk.ebid.net/ and look for 'Cancer' section under the 'Auctions for Charity' tab.
