How long would you leave something before making a second chance offer? I sold something on Saturday but the buyer hasn't paid or contacted me. I had quite a few bidders on the item and the next one down is only 50p less than the winner.

I think you have to wait 10 days to file a non paying bidder claim and then they have 7 days to respond. Only after that can you sell it buy second chance offer

I have done about 8 listings but not done photos for them and its too dark now :(

Buyers have 7 days to pay under current rules, so you can't even open an NPB until a full week has passed. The problem is that if original buyer does pay and you get your SCO accepted you'll end up with two winners, 2 lots of FVFs and two people able to leave you feedback and only one item.

Unless something is time sensitive I always prefer to go through the complete NPB process before re offering. Open NPB on day 7 and it can be closed a full 7 days later.
