  • Hi Floxxie - its a Dutch singer (OH is Dutch). A lot cant be listed, as the bar codes dont match up with the listed Amazon codes:confused:, but luckily this one did:T.

I sold the furniture on a BIN for £100. Great - except that I have nowhere to put the kids clothes for a few weeks. We ordered a new wardrobe, and have no space to have spares floating around - so needed to sell the existing ones first before the new one comes., But that just means that I will have to sell lots of their clothes too!!:rotfl:

Hi jaynemaria, I would send a polite email saying that the links they gave are uk based, and that airmail to Sri Lanka would be extra for them too. Could you quote for surface mail, or do they have a relative in the Uk that they could add as a guest address on paypal?

Hi TMD - I have the same log in details for both buying and selling on Amazon, but I think I had to register as a seller. I know when I go into Amazon, I click on the account name, then scroll down to seller account.
Hopefully someone who has done it more recently will be along soon.

I have just sold 2 pairs of summer weight trousers on ebay t0 different buyers - was surprised as I assumed that poeple would be switching to autumn / Christmas , and nearly gave both pairs to a friends daughter. They reached good prices too!!

Im painting again this weekend, but will be packing and posting this morning, and finding somewhere to put those clothes!!!:rotfl:
  • Oh, I've done it. How easy is it to list, is it normal for their not to be a picture? Going to try listing some of my comics and see if I sell any of those, some sellers are listing them for over £20 but I'd be happy with a lot less than that.

    Thanks for the advice.

  • Why do buyers who receive something (and then e-mail to say there is a problem) make it sound like you deliberately knew about it but didn't say. I always list any holes, tears or damage to items when I list them. Buyers must think that we think they are stupid and won't notice.

Oh well, looks like I might be getting a return (and I've had to offer to pay return costs). Sometimes I think people try it on. I sold something on my Business account a few weeks ago, from Next brand new with tags and they e-mailed to say the front had a tear that had been repaired and that they would leave me bad feedback if I didn't give them a satisfactory reply. I said to return for a refund but they said they didn't want to spend more money (er you will get a refund dear), needless to say no item has come back and no more correspondence and no bad feedback left yet.

Once the debt is gone - so is Ebay!!!!

Good going and it's not even midday yet.

I've done my one on Amazon, will do a couple more later (some comics), will try and have an Ebay frenzy this afternoon or when DD3 goes to sleep.

I had a lazy week or so with ebay. I have had people buy things with vest offers & win bids & not pay!!! so I am thinking is it all worth it?? then I look at the piles of stuff we have & remember that it is!!!!
When dd starts school on thursday, I will only have baby with me in the days I will crack on..... I promise.... I have so many books to sell. None of them worth anything though penny books if you look on Amazon, so when the new rule on ebay comes into force I don't know what I will do with them!!!!! Any suggestions??
