Amazon is super easy - I kept putting off working out how to do it, then I read a really helpful thread on the Ebay etc board which taught me everything I needed to know. Definatley get on there. I sold a book at work for £50 on there today :)

Just listed 20 items on Amazon & Play

  • I find amazon sooo much easier than ebay - no stress, no dsr's and people actually really want what they order. Go for it !!

I have a piece of furniture listed - £16 start - no bids, 18 watchers and 6 days left to run. I have had 4 requests for a BIN - the highest being £75.
Mine is badly scratched and has a faded repair.
An immaculate one has just appeared for £400. should I take the £75, or should I wait for bids, which may be much less...???
  • Well done with your book Jesarose.

Oh thats a tough one longhotbath - if it was me I would wait and see but thats because I would forever wonder what it would have gone for. BUT £75 is a lovely amount of money. 18 watchers is very good though so you might just get more

That well no help at all was it

  • Thanks, will have to have a go at Amazon, is there anyway that you can check what has sold and for how much like you can on Ebay, I'd be interested to know if the people selling the comics like I have have actually sold any.

No unfortunately you can't see any sold prices but you can try a high price, give it a couple of weeks or any amount of time you want and then change it. You can change it everyday if you want to. And listings stay on there til you take them off or they sell too, without listing fees

  • Hooray, I won the Euromillions - 2 numbers and 1 lucky star - a grand total of £5.70 - yeeee haaaaaa.

Better than a kick in the teeth (I never win anything)

Am happy about that, but sad today as it is 3 years ago today (5th) that we had our lovely dog, Rocky, put to sleep. He was my best friend and my first 'baby', he will always be my special boy.

    LHB, what CD was it?

TMD, sorry to hear your news. Congrats on the win!

I haven't done anything tonight; am in shock having got 95% in my last assignment. Got to spend tomorrow doing yet another assignment but Sunday is my listing day.

Have decided that we are going to put everything up in the attic in an organised manner. I'm not coping very well with boxes and things everywhere and need to be able to forget eBay at times. Just hope I don't forget it to much and forget to list though :rotfl:

Have a list of questions that I need to answer on my existing lot; that will probably take all morning ;)

Well done everybody. Very impressive listing!
