eBay/ebid 10 a day challenge - any joiners?

Yes please, I know we're supposed to be saving/making money but very occasionally i NEED to treat myself. Thanks jaynemaria and at least if I bought of a fellow MSEr I would be doing some good at the same time

I uploaded 10 items tonight and have 10 ready for tomorrow. They are not new ones but the ones I have been working on this week.

My auction activities for the day are:

New listings - 0 but I did have to delete and redo one of my eBid ones, because it somehow turned itself into a duplicate listing :huh:
Active listings - 16 (8 on eBay, 8 on eBid)
One will sell so far, with watchers on 3 others.

I have found some more bits to list too.
I must say, I have spent most of the afternoon trawling round the paid click sites.

Can someone tell me since when did the free listing start? I have not been to anywhere. How come I did not know anything about it until I tried to list something tonight? When does it end?

The 10 day free listings started last Saturday and finishes on Monday, it is for Private sellers only, not Business Sellers or Powersellers.

I must have been out of the space, and knew nothing about it. Did ebay actually send out messages to private sellers at all? At least I still have 2-3 days to go.

It's a highlighted announcement when you log in and also if you opted to get ebay circulars you would have had at least one message.

Yeay I listed 8 more today - nothing of any value, but every penny counts!! oh and I was just wondering if any of you list books anywhere - I have got a lot of novels, but just doesn't seem worth putting them on amazon for 1p and there are so many on there.

try greenmetropolis.com BB - you get £3 for each book sold but have to take your postage out of that.

Just popping by as I still haven't managed to sort out any new listings but I'm going to whip your asses ladies and gentlemen...well if I say it often enough I might actually do it :rotfl:

Actually spent the morning thinking about which items I can put on in the next few days and that took me quite a few hours as the enormity of how much I still have to get rid of hit. Mind you it's also nice to have a look through your account to see how much stuff has gone.
