well - I didnt mean to post and run, but I had a committee meeting to go to.

The transparent items were odd - it was yucky to see everything !!- and a rather sad way of selling clothes for about £5 !!

    Euwwwww.......

I could sell my toweling dressing gown - after 3 children, thats as transparent as I get.

Just sold a childrens character toy on a bin - buyer came to collect as he wants it for a jokey birthday party tomorrow - he would like all the others I have - should I prise them away from my children - will they ever notice amongst the soft toy mountain that they posess??

Hey LHB, yep I would sell any toys that he wanted. My children are the same...far too many and they wouldn't notice them disappearing...in fact they haven't noticed at all!

Broken electrical items often do quite well on Ebay. People buy them either to have a go fixing them and then sell them on or just for the working parts in them. In the past i've sold a broken Ipod and a broken digital camera both sold for £20 upwards. Pretty good considering I was planning on throwing them out!!

I've got a broken video player shall I ebay or chuck????

Try doing a completed listings search on Ebay. It should give you an idea of how much it will possibly sell for if anything at all.

Did anyone else have an absolutely brilliant night last night? I wonder if the bad weather was keeping people in.

I sold £36+ of old toys and games for one son and almost £20 for another plus I have some outstanding things fror 3rd son. They are busy planning what else to sell now as they see this is a way of having a very good summer!
