  • Hi there, can I join please? I will go for 5 a day :D I am going to start tomorrow though as I am working today and out this evening.

Can anyone tell me how successful greenmetropolis is, I registered on there yesterday and have LOADS of books to sell, was wondering if that was the best site to list on or whether amazon would be better:confused:

I only manage to list 10 last night/this morning, it seemed like loads, still took me ages, going to try the turbo lister, so that i can be ahead of myself for the weekend 99p free listing madness.
My expectations of selling anything is not that high for this weekend 99p listing.

Good news is i have 1 item that has a bid :T

I haven't listed anymore, I'm waiting till Saturday or Sunday.

Good news on my item I have up though. It's over £4 now with 15 people watching! I'm expecting it to finish around £8-9. It finishes on Sunday evening. Here's hoping for my target or more!

Turbo Lister – good for creating auctions offline.
Turbo Lister is eBay’s own software, which you download to your computer. It creates auctions offline (handy for those on dial-up internet); to make auctions live, simply click upload.
This does mean that to upload auctions at a specific time, you need to be around then to click the upload button. It’s still possible to upload in advance and schedule listings, but eBay charges 6p for the privilege.

  • Got 5 items on Turbolister for tonight, going to do a few more in a minute.

What sort of things are you all selling? I have clothing, toys, books, some DVD's and that sort of thing.

I haven't decided if I'm going to do the free listing days this weekend as I'd be gutted to sell things for 99p as I really need the money, don't want to be giving stuff away.

Everything i am selling is clothes, shoes/trainers & bags
most of the stuff i am listing at £1.99 to £4.99.

I have clothes that i dont mind going for 99p because, old, out of style etc. but like i said in previous post i am not expecting too much, if i do sell, great. i haven't lost anything

got 17 items listed in the last 2/3 days, now have 2 bids and one of the bidders is interested in another of my items:j feeling positive
