I was wondering if anyone here had sold medals before?? I had a load which I took photos of and intended to post today but I can't find enough information on how much they're worth so I'l going to not put them on there and do some proper research.
Would I be better off taking them to a real auction?
Is now too early to start posting my auctions, would I be better waiting until 4 or 5pm after most peoples sunday lunch?:ASaving for my future...0 -

Had a look at eBay; there's plenty of Cyprus apartments on there but I would be really concerned about taking Paypal as the payment. What happens if they do a 'not as described'? I have no idea what the rules are about this - saw on one that it said Paypal claims had to be within 45 days.
Car; my friend tried to sell his car but he put a reserve price on that was way too high so he got plenty of bids but not high enough. Make sure you put 'payment on collection'. I think you are allowed not to have Paypal on a car listing?
As for children; well they are so common aren't they? :rotfl:Don't think you'll get very much at all so I wouldn't bother.

Definatly get them checked by a military auction specialist miss - if you cannot say exactly what the medal is you won't get the value. If you have names, regiment etc of the recepient that will increase the value too. A lot of auctioneers will give you a value from sending in photos by email

I need a serious kick up the bum when it comes to ebaying... I have been so lazy this last fortnight. I have a wholeee bag of stuff to list (was hoping to do it tonight) but have zero motivation
I feel like I'm drowning in clutter.
How are you all doing?0 -
I'm not very quick with this listing
I managed to get 16 buy in now ebay auctions on tonight. I listed them for 7 days and underpriced whatever was listed the same. I then realised I could have listed them for 30 days for the same price and put them on tuesday to finish sunday. I debated this but I'm moving so I want it sold in the next few days so at least I listed them.
Wish I could have got more on but proud I started!:ASaving for my future...0 -
I just listed 9 items on Amazon and Play. Don't feel like doing any more tonight as I've been up since 6am
Come on Completely - just think of the lovely money you will get when all that clutter sells. I know exactly how you feel thoughNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Had 50 listed, was hoping for at least double that

Most of mine didnt sell tonight, what a pain. Will relist, at least that bit is easy to do.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
