Does anybody want to know anything about Boots?

Hi,

Might seem a silly question, but does anyone know as boots are now selling holidays can you use your advantage card points to book your holidays?

If you book a holiday with boots you can claim advantage card points so maybe you can spend them on holidays?

I wasn't aware of Boots selling holidays are you sure you are not getting mixed up with holiday insurance? You get Advantage points for those.

i dont know how relevent this is....

but i have managed to get the free gift, and use a coupon against no7. i took a face cream and the free gift for spending over £15 to a till, waited for woman to scan them, and then took out a coupon for a free item under £16 from parenting club. got both items for free and they scanned ok.

I bought an MP3 player online last August, the earphones have now stopped working. I have tried to contact the manufacturer but been told because I don't have a paper receipt - as it was bought online - then I have to deal with the retailer. Can you tell me if Boots will help?

Secondly, I have also used a coupon against the spend so much to get a free gift & it worked with the free gift & coupon.

Thirdly, I have used double points coupons on triple points days & got 5x points - some cashiers say it won't work but be persistant & ask them to try. I haven't had any double points coupons for ages though - anyone else had any?

I know whats happened there, you can minupulate the system a bit because the item can go through for say the £16 that you wanted the free bag goes through so that offer is done and dusted and then, you can get a reduction because the till still sees it as £16 owing, I would however get told off for doing this on my till. I was just quoting it when we had the offer on for Number 17.

I would contact boots.com and see what they can do, I know that they are brilliant at customer service. Boots will help, infact they will probably just replace it because that is what we have to do in store. You do need a receipt but this will be on file with Boots.com and if they say its not argue and say it is because someone you knoe works in the company and they know

Yes if the spend £15 I think it is 100 free points from the AD CARD point, it doesn't really matter what you spend money on for a Total spend coupon, except baby milk upto 6 months.

I have never had any coupons tbh but its just a case of waiting and seeing.

hi robb2002 - i might be being stupid! but i have some points waiting for me to collect from an online purchase at an advantage point and cant seem to get them onto my card on any machine i use! (i have tried three so far) the SA in store were not amazingly helpful either and i want to use them!! I thought that the points went straight on your card when you put it in - i tried everything and nothing seemed to work!

How long has it been since you got the points loopy?

The points are supposed to be available to pick up at machine 5 days after purchase but for some reason I had to wait 10 days after purchase and only got my points last week (that I should have had ages ago).

I was just looking for somewhere to post this question as I didn't know if I could get the free gift if I used that voucher, so thanks very much!!
