Visited Boots today..got the triple points and then the double points voucher worked as well, sales assistant didn't say anything.

hi - i've posted this elsewhere so sorry for all those that have already read this but...
over weekend i bought some No17 stuff which came to voer £10. got the freebie bag with goodies in and also had a £1 off voucher from a previous good bag, which was valid until later this month. Till would not accept it and assistant said she could not overide and take £1 off. i said go get a manager or supervisor (nicely) and so off she went. she came back and told me that despite being a MEGASTORE IN BIRMINGHAM and at epak shopping time of SATURDAY 4.30pm there was no manager in the entire store and that no1 could override it. Whats the deal with that ? so i spent my money thinking i'd get an extra £1 off and i didnt, now i have a seemingly useless valid voucher. what can i do please?

That's what I'd like to know too. I've got loads of points but the stores near here don't sell anything big - i.e. tvs etc. Our local store doesn't even have an Advantage machine.

In regards to the No 17 free gift, you cannot redeem coupons against the final purchase of the items as this is then classed as two offers in conjunction and that is not allowed. I.e. you have got 1 free bag (1 offer) ad then want a further £1 off (second offer).

Btw it is hard to find a supervisor in my store when I need one so I can understand that there might not have been one available which is a pain.

I shall find out when you will be able to spend your points on-line when I work next, I only work in stores, and also about the baby club post I will find out.

However with No7 there is a free bag if you spend over £15 and this can be included in the 3 for 2 as long as the bag is scanned after the two items and not after the 3rd otherwise it will not work.
It really annoyed me yesterday as a girl nearly gave three bags out because they bought a 3 for 2 offer that was £30 in total. 3 No7 3 for 2's and 3 bags for £30, Boots would be going out of business. This is only available in one transaction. One bag per transaction.

i have a validated reciept for today from triple points week. if i dont get my advantage card replacement until next week, will my points still be triple if i get them to scan it next week when its not triple points anymore?

the validated receipts are only valid for 30 days - but you will receive all of your points even if the triple points offer has finished when you collect them! Hope this helps.

That's correct. The barcode on the reciept is kept until 30 days, the number of points on there cannot be altered once the receipt has been validated, so you will still get your triple points!!!
