I have just spoken to the one account 8.10am 1st Dec they have cut the rate by 1%, no reason as to why it is 1% and not 1.5%!!!

really? I just called and got the usual "under review" message. Did you speak to someone in person?
  • Yes I did, Christina in the Bolton call centre.
  • I've just had the same conversation - down by 1% - and the site WAS down to update the interest rates lol
Site should be up later today
  • What conspiracy theory will tajima cook up now?

Bunch of muppets, the One account is still damaged goods and most sensible people will still be looking to move away from it. The trust element that was always there when Branson had it, has now gone. These idiots will hike it back up at the drop of a hat.
  • So they have increased their margin by 0.75% in recent months, which is more than £125 per month in my case! And with rates set to fall again this week what hope will we have of them passing on the full benefits of the next cut?

At least we now know exaclty where we stand - i.e. they have definitely decided not to treat us the same as other RBS SVR customers. I for one am more determined than ever to keep the pressure on.
  • I've just logged on to my account and the rate has been cut by 1%.

    Hi All

Just logged on to the One account and the rate is showing 5.2%.
    Still 0.5% above Nationwide's BMR

As you don't seem to understand mortgages and the costs providing them, I assume you were sacked as opposed to leaving

    by my calculation its 1%

the 0.25% they didn't pass on...
the 0.25% they increased the rate for no reason

and now the 0.5% they haven't passed on!

so the rate should be 4.2% if they'd have kept their promise:mad:

as above i will be leaving at the earliest opportunity.
