    Thanks guys.

The upholsterer was round this morning and I am very pleased that my new chairs, footstool and reupholstering our current sofa is going to be £840 in total. This is much much much cheaper than buying new (esp. with ohs tastes!). We have chosen and paid for fabric and are now waiting for him to fit us in... in a way thats good as it shows he is in demand, so he must be good.

Managed some exercise and a small amout of business work yesterday - I am going to do the same today and I've also got a private tutiton client coming here later.

I must sop looking at living room and bedroom things and get on with my work!! I'll never finish this marathon if I don't keep on taking small steps!

Aww thanks! Please don't read through it all though, it must be so boring! After having earthlet I definately don't have as much energy as normal, especially as he is unsettled at the moment with teething - been up since 4am :(
    off to read some diaries:j

Well I have had a good few days, one private tuition customer, two more exercise sessions, and some quality time with oh and baby.
I have managed to get car insurance for £230 with cash back, £20 under budget, so thats ok - I expected more of a saving really, but I shopped around.

I have remebered something else that will involve quite a lot of expenditure - earthlets Christening. So I will start researching that soon as well.

This week I have done fairly well with my challenges, I've done plenty of exercise, sold at least 3 things on ebay and I've done my work on our business.

I completed 7 tutoring lessons - but 2 cancelled at the last minute which was really annoying! I have a new client next week as well, so I am doing as much as I can now. I think earthlet may have other ideas about playing on his own or on my knee for an hour soon - I've been very lucky so far!

    Still to do next week:

    Income:
    - Plan tutorings
    -post ebay items
    - one more small business session
    - Try to get surestart fireguard/stairgates on Wed

    Outgoings:
    - go to get paint - I can't seem to get a discount on the paint I want so i'll have to pay full price :(
    - do a top up shop on Tue
    - work with dad to paint bedroom and avoid paying a decorator.
-when bedroom decorated look at organising the Christening.
    - when buying things remember cashback!

I have managed to use vouchers saved up from doing shopandscan to pay for my bedroom items and I've also got a hand food blender as well as earthlet is being weaned on to solids now.

Things are still a bit up in the air with him teething and weaning, and I'm exhausted at the moment!

off to read some diaries and relax :T

    Just a quick update post.

A few good things have been happening, and a few challenges have arisen!

My dad has painted our bedroom, mostly with paint we already had (although oh wanted us to buy totally new paint in a very similar colour, i got my way in the end!)So we only spent £15 on wood paint and filler. However, we discovered that one of the window frames needs replacing - guess this could be expensive :( .

I managed to get 2 brand new stair gates and a fire guard for free on long term loan, so I am really chuffed - this means earthlets remaining vouchers can be used for something else essential... I have bought him a lovely little suit for my brothers wedding off ebay for £5, and oh and I already have outfits lurking I am sure!

But our printer has broken and its cost oh a lot to replace it i think (he is not very communicative at present so I am not going to ask!)

I am meeting with the prospective childminder tomorrow, then doing some marketing work, and hopefully looking into the Christening too.
