You amaze me. And yes, given everything thats going on in your life right now I'd give up the allotment as well honey. You need to start putting you first now....ifkwim.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

For what it's worth, I'm with Twinkle about giving up the allotment. It sounds like there's loads you could grow in your own garden too so financially it might not make that much difference. I've just been to our local greengrocers and bought our weekly supply for £9.87 and that definitely includes 5 a day for all three of us
:D

Hi All,
Haven’t posted for ages as something rather major has happened and I haven’t felt like I should post about it, but it changes everything! So I have decided that I should just post about it instead of pretending it hasn’t happened IYSWIM!
I’m so excited, I am in the very early stages of pregnancy – about 6 weeks! We had been trying for a while, and I did think it would take ages, but fingers crossed it will ‘stick’ and next July we will have a little junior!! I know that I shouldn’t just take it for granted that it will be ok, I know miscarriage is common until about 12 weeks, but I can’t not get excited about it! As long as I am sensible and pragmatic I will be fine.
So how does it change things? In the short term, the next 12 months or so, things will change quite a lot, I’ll need to slow down and look after my general health a bit more. I might not be able to earn as much as I did tutoring. I still want to stick to my goal of oping £1000 a month, but some months I just might not make it.
I definitely plan to have an MS pregnancy and baby! I have sourced loads of things from freecyle in the summer (cot, playpen, clothes, highchair, buggy, baby monitor and loads more!) my mum has got loads of cot bedding and curtains etc, and more clothes, so I hope to not have to fork out too much early on.
The two pairs of trousers I got last week from the charity shop were maternity ones (not that I’ll need them for a while, but couldn’t resist at £3!) and I’m hoping that if I sort our my wardrobe and borrow stuff from my mum, I shouldn’t need much more until next summer.
We have decided that next spring we’ll give the box room a lick of paint, and just get a baby border to go round, so that shouldn’t cost too much.
So at the moment I’m feeling fine, and really excited! The only things I’ve noticed is when I do 2 tutorings on an evening and haven’t eaten for 7 hours L, I feel sick when before I was fine, so I will have to carry plenty of snacks, and I have been going to bed loads earlier than usual.
I won the £10 raffle prize at work, and I won £11.70 on the Euromillions, so I have spent £16 on a big woolly cardian as a treat.
I feel like I have got loads to do, too much, and I’m getting a bit stressed out by it, so I’m going to make a list and prioritise!
Money:
I made an op of £450 in November – so I ‘owe’ £550 to make this up to £1000
Overpayed £300 for December today- so I ‘owe’ £700 – Total of £1250 to find and transfer out of bank accounts.
Sort out the Halifax new home account – this is why I am slow to overpay, Halifax are so slow to change our account over from RBS and I don’t know where I am with our house and bills money.
Check that my pay for lunch duty and breakfast club has been paid properly.
Other:
Clean house – including disinfecting kitchen –its looking a bit grubby!
Write remaining xmas cards and post remaining presents.
Buy oh his big present (?)
Fill in forms for pay increase at work
Food shopping
It actually doesn’t seem that much I am just over reacting! I have a tutee coming to my house at 3pm so off to do a bit of cleaning before he arrives!

Hi all,
Did a little banking this morning, and it seems that between the two home accounts I have the op money of £1250, so I will try to make the op tomorrow.
I finished all of the Christmas present shopping, so will send them at the weekend. I still need to:
-renew library books.
-check lunch duty and breakfast club pay.
- finish off cards and presents and post.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
