Thanks for all hugs - greatly appreciated virtual or not!!

Still no news - everyone just wants to know why, but its so difficult to say. OH seems ok still.

My computer is completely broken, new computer for Christmas then :(

Had a much better few days, got some really positive feedback at work, always nice to be appreciated - Now I've been thanked 3 times in 5 years (two of them in the last few months, so workforce management is improving!:) )

I have had a rubbish day eating, had a cake, and tutee offered me biscuits and I was sooooooo hungry cause I did 2 tutorings again :( theres always a fresh start tomorrow!

Tonight I'm going to do some more cleaning and little jobs around the house, and pack my bag for the gym.

Tomorrow I'll do the gym, try to do some banking tasks during the day, and finish my school work, this will leave the weekend for my small business work and allotment. I'll aim for a nsd with no extras!

    Hi all,
Another busy day, but a really good one -nsd, full of gym work and banking activity!
I have turned my tesco vouchers into airmiles (saving up for flights to NZ). Amazingly IT tecs at work spent two days on my computer and managed to fix it so I don't have to get a new one!:j

Tomorrow I still have a few banking type tasks to do, I'll go to the gym and then heading out for one of these dinners OH and I have booked with friends!

    To do:
-ring airmiles and chase tsb airmiles
-check OHs shell card is feeding properly
-chase life insurance and check direct debit

    Finish cleaning
    Small business work
    Gym

Oh gosh Earthy, that's dreadful news, poor OH and family. Sending hugs your way. The poor man xx

Blimey, you've got a packed day today! Makes me feel tired just to read it! My day today will be - struggle to get DD to school (I have a slipped disk and keep on thinking I'm fine then realising I'm knackered), come home and sleep, eat, watch TV/ipl*yer, get DD from childminder, reheat yesterday's leftovers and go to bed! Fancy a swap? :)

No I know I shouldn't complain at least I am not in pain, must be horrible, you do so well to keep smiling :) well done

Had a sloooooowwww morning so need to speed things up a bit!

Sorted out the airmiles thing - didn't realise the tsb airmiles come as a voucher and have to be used by next june! eek! oh well that confirms we really have to get saving - another 8000 to go! (this is actually possible due to the large amount of fuel OHs business uses.)

If we didn't get enough for NZ we could always use it for a weekend away somewhere exotic like prague (exotic to us as we don't get far!)

Anyway I've raised a omplaint with halifax as the messed up the dd transfer, and I've chased the credit from eon - £50 extra to OP arriving next week :) I've applied for some freebies including the sky hd party so should get a £10 m&s voucher that I'll spend on my dads xmas. I've tried to sort out the life insurnace again, but not open - typical! So next week no matter how busy I get I have got to

    - ring life insurance and sort out direct debit and refund of incorrect dd
    - take back library books

Ok So that took me ages and I have spent time with OH. Now I need finish xmas shopping - OH taking Christmas presents to his family on Monday - good job I started early! No motivation but Eva B has just inspired me with her post on the real chages that making an effort and overpaying can make to future lifestyles.

    Right onwards and upwards!

Hope you had fun at the gym, I used to belong to one but got bored so darned quickly, whereas I love swimming which a lot of people think is boring, just ploughing up and down. It gives me good thinking time. Hopefully I'll be able to go back in a week or so, the osteopath asked me to see her again in a fortnight and assess the situation then. Fingers crossed :)

What are you growing on the allotment at the moment? DD and I always have big plans to grow our own, but then laziness/my back/being fairweather gardeners always gets in the way and we end up with a few manky tomato plants and random other bits, not the big self-sufficient plot that we dream of, lol.

My dad had promised to come and dig over a big flower bed for us that is covered in admittedly gorgeous plants (aquilegia and irises amongst others...) so that we can grow some veggies next year, but he called earlier today to let us know that he slipped yesterday and has broken his arm :( I think I might need to find someone else to get physical in the garden for me!

Good to see that in general things are all positive for you, and hope the tragedy can be overcome. Enjoy planning your trip on those airmiles.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Are you near me (North Wales)? I'll come and give you a hand!!!

Forgot to say I've only got spinach (which i love) j. artichokes, cabbage, cauli, beetroot, and sack of potatoes. Not much variety, but it'll do. I haven't been for ages, which is terrible of me - I might have nothing!
