    Their PM's behaviour is disgraceful. In terms of what's in store, it seems Iceland may find itself owned by Russia soon! Plus, their economy is sunk and their currency is fast becoming worthless.

    It wouldn't be so bad not honouring the guarantee if it was because they couldn't.

    The fact that in the same breath they announced they were underwriting their domestic voters 100% was appalling.

    Does anyone know if our deposits were kept in the UK or in Iceland? The icelandic compensation contingency pot was reputed to be 88 million. If there are 300000 Uk depositors and they all had 16K in the bank That is only 48 million.:mad:

    Support CamCaRe, the Campaign to carpet bomb Reykjavik. Blast the cod-guzzling seal-shagging insolvency monkeys back into the ice age.

    Actually I feel quite sorry for most of them. I decided to bank with Icesave. They didn't decide to be Icelandic. They need to get rid of their creepy PM tho.
