I'll certainly try and blag a Bristol flight if the flight home is via Paris, or if they want to put me on a Flybe to Cardiff then even better.

Looking at their website the flights from LA to Paris are 6.30pm and 10pm with connections in Paris to LHR getting in at 3.05pm or 7.20pm next day. I suspect if we're not given a choice we'll be put on one of these.

The original direct flight was 8.50pm getting to LHR at getting in at 3.05pm.

I booked with Orbitz.com to LA next April. I also got an email and I called them and they gave me a flight from Paris CDG to London Heathrow business class :D for no extra cost.

This problem has arisen as Air France has cancelled the direct daily flight from LHR-LAX from October 26th (although they are starting JFK direct from March 29th).

Just to add that they appear to have cancelled the daily direct flight from October 26th but there are still some direct flights (4 or 5 days per week) until 5th Nov when the last direct flight from LAX to LHR is. We are booked on the flight on 1st Nov and that seems to be OK at the moment.

I'm a bit worried now as I have booked flights through expedia.au flying LAX-LHR on 22nd November with Air France. I haven't had any emails as of yet about flight changes but if they do redirect my flight to Paris I'm going to have problems because I have a flight booked from LHR to MAN on the same day. It was booked seperatley so I haven't got a leg to stand on if I do get rerouted!
Does anyone know if all of their flights are being cancelled or is there a slim chance that mine might still go ahead? I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I haven't heard from them yet but I'm a little worried.

Can you change that to CDG-MAN? or ask if they can do a CDG-MAN instead of CDG-LHR.

    Perhaps

Just had an e-mail off them to say they are now offering me a flight from Paris to London.

Not too happy with that as it adds a couple of hours to the journey but hey ho.

Thanks for the tip, this option could work out just as well as my current booking! I've emailed AirFrance to check on my flight details so I suppose it's just going to be a case of wait and see what they say and then I can go from there.

They should be willing to offer you CDG-MAN instead of CDG-LHR.

BMI did something similar for me after a schedule change. You might have to push quite hard for it though.

I am in the same situation.. my flight ends in Paris.

To those that only called air france instead of expedia au, did your expedia status change too?

    My expedia says:

    Your Request Cannot Be Completed

The status of your flight has changed. Please call us on 1300 EXPEDIA (1300 397 3342) or +61 3 9639 5154 for calls outside Australia.
