Hi Pania,
Just stumbled across your diary, wow you've done so well!
I see you mentioned Corby, I was up that way yest visiting a friend in Geddington, we lived in Kettering until 86 when we moved South. I now live v close to the New Forest and wouldn't move for the world.... unless it was the maldives!! lol
Hope all goes well with your new job 2moro and I was pleased to hear your pony found a fab home. I used to ride (many moons ago) and gave my scatty pony up. I miss it but not the early starts to muck out in the winter!

hi Pania
sorry to hear you've been feeling down, but Hypno and the rest are right, things definately weren't good with you're ex.
I'd love a dog as well, but we still can't have one due to work. I think i should be able to take it into the office as it will help calm people and offer counselling which we all seem to need to survive a day there.
PS well done Hypno on running 3 laps, hope the blisters are healing.0 -
In the same way some people miss their hemorrhoids?
ooooooh!!!!!!!erm. perhaps...:o
ZTD wrote:You don't love him. You don't miss him, you miss the fact you had someone to talk to. You miss the attention, despite the fact the attention was entirely negative.
Gotta say you've got me on that one, how did you get to know me so well!;)
I do miss having someone there to rant to, to laugh with, to have fun with. The name calling and imagery was negative, most definately. and i can now do things again that i wasn't allowed to when we were together.ZTD wrote:OK - what's so good about Norfolk?
ZTD!!! I am shocked!!! how on earth can you ask that question without immediately knowing the answer!!! HYPNO OF COURSE!!!!! the one good thing that came from me moving to norfolk is my friendship with such a fab lovely and supportive (and knows exactly where to aim that boot for a good sharp kick!) lady.oh, and the fact that i can find many a running route that does not imcorporate a housing estate as it does here.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: weren't too keen on my ex then? :rotfl:ZTD wrote:Treated him? God sake woman you did so much to help him and love him and all the rest.
But we were close. he asked me to marry him. 4 months later i bugge red off permanentos. I was an absolute female dog when he was trying his damndest to get me to stay and not to leave him and looking back i think he genuinely meant what he was saying. I think he would genuinely have tried harder than he ever had before. I thought life would be plain sailing without him around, but truth be told..*whispers* i'm lonely!!!!!ZTD wrote:So go looking for someone else. Big cliche - but plenty of fish in the sea.
a fish i about all i'll end up with all the decent ones are either married or gay :rolleyes:ZTD wrote:Especially for someone as warm and loving and pretty as yourself.
now i know you had your glasses on when we met.... when did you last have your eyes checked?ZTD wrote:Southerner...cheek! i would defy anyone to stand out in the conditions i was in yesterday ans remain even a modicom of warmth about their person northerner southerner or any!!!
ZTD wrote:People do love you. Sometimes not in the way you want, but they love you all the same.
Thats the problem. I so desperately want someone to love me again in that way i am now scared i will make the wrong choice and end up back in this situation again in another 3 years time.:oZTD wrote::grouphug:
same to you honey and thankyou for your wise words once again. xxxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Massive hugs Pania and just think....somewhere in the UK your new dog is waiting for you (or if you're getting a puppy it might be a glint in it's father's eye but you get the picture). It's a really exciting time for you but it's out of your comfort zone so of course it's scary too. My advice would be - don't look back...if you go too close to your ex hypno would be after you and i've heard she's running quite well right now (something about three times round a....no, can't remember). Have a great time in your new job xx
I think many a DFW'er would be queing up to batter me about the head with a wet kipper if i got back with hima nd i know for a fact hypno would catch me even if she can run 2 times (it was 2 wasn't it) around a lake!!:rotfl:
note to self... "Must. Stop. Looking. Back..." think you've hit the nail on the head there!!!
are you coming to manchester? hope so if not get your butt up there woman!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

Got to be a bit selfish, do stuff for you. New life, new identity.
As for being out in temperatures of -3, I've just put the heating on thinking about it ! I just don't function in the cold. I guess the upside is you'll hopefully be basking in the Summer sun while we are all stuck in offices.
I'm so glad you've got a job you love, makes the day soo much better to wake up to.
Love my dog, he has social issues with people (sometimes I don't blame him !) but he loves us and I look forward to the day you get your fluffy one.
DC you are one of the people on these boards that i really admire. Having seen what you have been through in 2008 and the way you have fought back against the grief, your words mean a lot. so thank you. New life and new identity is certainly the way to go. and the new job, with the ability to clear my debts and be free to enjoy life again will certainly be the way to go about that. I am going to start diving again in april when the weather is warmer and am currently researching dive schools in the area to go to. I'm running lots and am planning on joining a gym over this way, again more of a social aspect that i can get in to and a motivation to get out of bed in the morning so lots of planning to be done (highly highly motivated by the fact there is an extreeeemely hot very fit, currently single, and has paid an interest (heheh) ex marine now working at the dog school!) I think the wrapped up in 25 layers with wind strewn hair and shivering like an ice pop look yesterday didn't do me many favours but hey in the summer if i have a nice toned slender bod by then watch out!!! he he. Working from home and doing the training at the weekends the summer sun will most certainly be getting basked in:D
Where abouts are you hon? anytime you want any help with pooch just give me a shout, currently helping mupeteer with her young lady so more than happy to extend the service to fellow DFW'ers.
I can't wait for the day either. was promised one for my 30th that never materialised so the day can't come soon enough..debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Chev, fab to see you hon! how is my lovely island doing at the mo? kiwi friend coming over at the end of march and i can't wait to see him! mum and dad haven't been back long, i looked at their photos over christmas and blubbed like a baby i soooo want to be there!!! long term goal to work towards me thinks!! yay! hope life is treating you well, come back any time you like!
xx
Tigz, a fellow DFW'er so near yet so far away!!I love the new forest too used to spend ages down there with my ex ex walking the dogs i love it!!! esp lyndhurst and lymington is stunning to. oooh something esle to add into my "things to do now the new year is here" diary...:)
Jinks.. thanks honey
Lemontree, give me a call sometime hon and we'll have a good old catch up!! sooo much to catch up on!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
