A family house without a garden is about as useful as a donkey without legs or a cow without an udder - oh, why didn't I just say chocolate teapot instead of trying to be clever?
Clearly, a visit to the house is called for, and I'll await your report with bated breath. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Thank u guys for supporting a price drop in the market, it can only help those try to get in the property market.0

Hmm, do you know why the second sale did not show up in Rightmove? Is that common?
Wonder why he's selling so soon?
Anyway, the ebay listing is full of half-truths."HOUSES IN THE SAME ROAD, A FEW DOORS DOWN ARE OVER A MILLION POUNDS" - what he means is that the much larger houses at the other end of this very long road sell for a lot, although the highest appears to be £900k right at the peak of the market. Mind you, some of those houses opposite the golf course are simply enormous. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Yes, thats right.
We should have put it up at £800,000 then it would have been £325,000 off in a week.;)S!!!!horpe0 -

Always support a drop in the property market. I have ranted on here for a long time that all the prats who say "my house has risen 60% in a year". well so has the house you want to buy, divvy.
Average people getting mortgages for 200K. Rediculous, and if you can be bothered reading back on my posts I have always mantained that it is stupid.
What should be happening now is that interest rates should be skyrocketing and the law of the financial jungle takes over.
But I did not know that the government would start bailing people out, if I had known that I would have got on the rung. This house is an inheritance, by the way.
Before my dad died he offered to give me the deposit on a house, I told him that I was very grateful for his offer but house prices were stupid. I earn more than anyone I know and I could get a mortgage for 160k. I know people that have mortgages for £200k that earn less than me. How long can that last?
Anyway, that would have stretched me tremendously had interest rates reached 8%. And as a victim of the 15% interest hike I know it can happen.S!!!!horpe0 -
