Belkin F5D7632 Problems

Hi,
I have bought a Belkin F5D7632 yesterday and I am having problems and cannot find an answer. Belkins support both online and by telephone is poor and have not managed to speak to a person yet.
The router is connected to by base unit by ethernet cable. I use Virgin.net for my broadband. After surfing for a while some webpages stop loading if I start using them a lot. examples are BBC.co.uk.news and sport. If I press F5 they timeout straight away. Its strange as other sites continue to work no problem at all.
Only way I can kick it back into life is by rebooting the modem.
I have updated Firmware. Changed MTU settings to 1400 and timeout to 0
Anyone else suggest anything? Or shall i swop it for a netgear?
Regards
Barry

I have this problem too. It starts blocking webpages after a while. A reboot solves the problem. It is the firewall that blocks the pages but I do not know how to solve it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

I had a problem with a Belkin WAP and phoned their free helpline which operates 24/7 on 00800 22355460 and after trying for about an hour I spoke to a technician who was fantastically helpful and sorted my problem out. Prior to that, I was getting nowhere emailing them.0

Hi,
Mines seems to get very hot when sitting on a solid surface, But seems to behave it I hang it in the air...
Whether or not this is the cause I am off to get a replacement.

Belkin 736x ADSL modem wireless routers tend to run hot, and some fail in the way described above.
I had this problem some months ago, and I chose to replace it with a different device from Safecom bought from Ebuyer. This runs cooler 24 hours per day, every day.
I guess there are other manufacturers' units which others find to be very stable, but I have no personal experience of them. After all how long is reasonable before a ADSL modem router should fail? One year; or 5 years?
Shame because I liked the Belkin software interface.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
