Mysterious Payment from DWP

Do away with the £10? Hold on, I paid in for 44 years to get this, I don't want to give it back! Better for the people that paid in nothing and then claimed everything to pay back! How stupid to say it should be cut. For me £10 can keep me and my wife warm during these arctic conditions or provide a Christmas dinner. In any case it's been £10 since the year dot. One ray of hope, there's going to be an extra £60 in the New Year. Those that don't want/need it, give it to charity or someone that deserves it more!0

and when was that announced?????????????0 -
I didnt get an extra £10.
Must be because I work for a living rather than claim benefits for it.0 -
I think the extra £60 in the New Year was a one off for last January.0

Actually i am quite shocked by this NASA.
You know i really would love to work, only i have to live with a debilitating disease, I didn't ask for it, i didn't want it. There is no cure for it, and quite frankly although it may only be MS to you, i am struggling with it right now.
I can't afford to have direct payments, apparently having a child and the benefits that gives me (to pay to clothe and feed him) puts me over according to social services and no amount of arguing that its child benefits not mine..
so whilst i have to wait for ds to come home from school to help me, because i can't do for myself, I dread the day when i won't be able to wipe my own backside.
Hope you are enjoying your Christmas parties, think yourself lucky that you have your health.
Don't choke on that smugness now0 -
